as far as waves said:Got cheap tickets for their show at Citizens Bank Park in Philly last Saturday and they were impressive. Daltrey's voice is in amazing shape for 75 (?) and Townsend was great also. I thought Zak Starkey was the MVP of the show and the Orchestra was cool too. My first time seeing the Who and I couldn't have asked for more, well maybe the Seeker.0

Amazing show in Detroit last night! Set list was a little different than Grand Rapids, which was nice.
They seemed to be more comfortable on stage and the music really benefited from that. In the three weeks they've been on tour, they have really tightened up and refined the performance. Zack is killing it and sounded better than in GR. World class drummer, that guy. Pete tore it up a lot more on guitar, too. The flow felt more natural and organic last night, whereas GR was more structured and orchestrated. Both nights were amazing but Detroit just had that extra special something.
The Real Me, I Can See for Miles, Love Reign, Behind Blue Eyes and Baba were the highlights for me. I'm One and the Rock, too.
I can't stop grinning after last night. This show will be a part of me for life.If hope can grow from dirt like me, it can be done. - EV0 -

I haven't seen the who since the Gorge in 2000. Was tempted to go to Vancouver but it's midweek, $200, and I'm running out of Vac. days. Plus it might get cancelled. It's barely sold any tickets :(0

All I have heard is 2019, no specific date.
After seeing them on this tour, I have a suspicion that the album will be an instant classic.
Really looking forward to it!If hope can grow from dirt like me, it can be done. - EV0 -

Just seen something on FB about the 40th anniversary of the Cincinnati tragedy.
I didn't really know too much about it so watched and read some content online.

Totally tragic and avoidable.Wow. Was the band subdued? It must have been hard to perform after what happened.Adelaide 17/11/2009, Melbourne 20/11/2009, Sydney 22/11/2009, Melbourne (Big Day Out Festival) 24/01/20140 -
Who's Next is their best album. Change my mind.I've been listening to it lately. Whilst looking for another dvd in my drawers last night I found the Classic Albums episode dvd for this album. I totally forgot I had it. Ended up watching it. Pretty good.Adelaide 17/11/2009, Melbourne 20/11/2009, Sydney 22/11/2009, Melbourne (Big Day Out Festival) 24/01/20140

Yeah, Who's Next is pretty hard to beat. I have soft spot for Sell Out and A Quick One..., but Who's Next is way up there in the world of rock, for sure.

Tommy and Quadrophenia are masterpieces.
Live at Leeds is a legendary live album.
Who's Next? and any of those three are tops, depending on mood.If hope can grow from dirt like me, it can be done. - EV0
