Anyone listen to the Canadian rock band - the TEA PARTY? They are an awesome rock band - their lead singer has a jim morrison like demeanor and even sounds a bit like him. I recommend songs such as Messenger, The River, Heaven Coming Down, and an awesome cover of the stones Paint it Black.
Check out teaparty.com I first saw these guys on Much Music in the early 90s. They are huge in Canada and I can't see why they haven't done better in the states.

The Tea Party are one of the most underrated bands of all time. I saw Jeff Martin play solo last week and he was awesome of course. The guy can play guitars like no other.

I tweeted to Mike and Stone 6 days ago that they should go check out Tea Party, as they are playing the Showbox tonight. Coincidentally or not, The Tea Party just tweeted out "pearl jam, as requested, you are on the guest list for tonight's show".

Saw them for the first time on Saturday night and I was pretty much blown away by how good their show was.

I got stuck at work and couldn't make the show last night in Seattle. Really bummed. My buddy, who is a huge Tea Party fan was "Drum Tech for a Day" for Jeff Burrows:

Jeff Burrows (drummer) has said that the following plans are in the future of the band:

-release of the EP with Black River on it by June 2019
    -summer festivals and one-offs
-release entire catalogue on vinyl for the 30th anniversary of the band early 2020 (INDIE RECORD TOO?????)

I need the ones that haven't been released yet for vinyl. I doubt the indie record will be included but that would be sweet. Definitely want that EP.

Agreed! Also atgreed on the gatefold sleeve but I I was happy to see it repressed and available for less than the crazy prices on ebay or discogs when an original press popped up.

I know we get spoiled with the PJ boots, there's a couple of decent sounding shows on dime from this tour though, just grabbed the Winnipeg show. The live in Australia record is excellent as well.
