    7:30 - 8:15 opener
    8:50pm - 11:30 PJ

fits the 2016 tour length for pj.  No reason we couldn’t have an opener.   Maybe you lose 15 minutes of PJ.  No biggie.

If the tradeoff is getting arenas, bring on the opener.

I still feel like we are at least 2 months from hearing any real news.    I want to know they are touring Australia, New Zealand, and Japan in February and March when I can't take any time off from work.  I get a month sabbatical in 2021 and now it sounds like that will be a quiet year if 2020 is big.

2-3 songs every night? Big enough.

It doesn't get good until people start booking flights and hotels based on rumors.

In honor of a new Tool record soon, I'll point out that this whole business is Rosetta Stoned come to life and that is magnificent

I’m thinking maybe Australia + more. Is expensive to come down here! ‘Blow our minds’ ...makes me think more than just an Aussie tour is in the pipeline, maybe special guests? Further Asia destinations? NZ?

I really want a new album but an early 2020 Oz tour before the album would be cool. Play a couple of new tracks but hit us between the eyes with some epic shows and deep cuts. An Oz tour always coincides with an album, so a non album tour would be cool.

We have a small number of credible voices in this community when it comes to the band's unannounced plans. Personally, I'm glad they let us know what they can when they do.

Agreed. Hopefully the new record and US dates are on the horizon after the first of the year. Personally my mind will not be blown if they announce dates on the other side of the planet that I can’t attend but will be great to hear any tour announcement.  Any news is good news and it’s exciting to hear a credible fan with inside info share with the group that things are gaining traction.

Word. If people are too direct, sometimes they lose their source.  None of us want that lol

Exactly.  I've already rescinded my RSVP's to several relatives birthday parties and weddings in 2020  to make sure the schedule is clear.  Without these early nuggets of information I could easily be stuck at those parties.

Just booked a room in Sydney and Christ Church for half of January, all of February and half of March. Figure I can always shorten or lengthen the dates. Airfare is a little trickier. Never to early to budget plan though.

I'd like to see some eastern cities they haven't played since 2003-2006 get shows, like Albany and Saratoga. They haven't been back to Montreal since 2011.

Heck, they've barely been to CANADA since 2011.

Barely? They played 5 shows in CANADA in 2016.

Extrapolating population, that's equivalent to 50 US shows in one year.

In the last 27 years...Thats happened ONLY twice, in 1998 and 2003.

So not bad CANADA, getting more shows than US, with respect to population.
I disagree with that. When all or most of the shows are in the same province it means most of Canada WONT be there
