Why would it be the US? They played several shows there last year.
7 ballpark shows is hardly a proper tour like Europe got in 2018. 2013/2014 was the last proper west/midwest tour. That's why it should be US next imo and Canada for that matter.
BTW I am hoping Finland gets a show sometime in the near future.
I certainly hope so too. I know that the local promoters have been active every year, but no luck so far. But then again, it has been a good excuse to travel around different countries for the past 20 years.
If it is Europe again please give us something close to the fantastic Prague, Krakow, Berlin run of shows again please!
This is the exact trip I did last year, and I feel like i picked it just right, was amazing!! Looking forward to doing something similar next summer hopefully!
I would love to do a Portugal/Spain run but they did two festivals there last run and hard to justify a trip across the pond for festival shows. I would do that exact same trip like 2018 this time with my wife though. Fantastic venues and cities.
If the tour is in July unfortunally the portugal and spain shows will be festivals
i really hope this time they start the tour here(Lisbon) this time so that the show are non-festival
Are the NOS Alive headliners not already announced ?
i really have my doubts on Da Weasel (portuguese hip-hop band) are the headliners for the last day.
They are reuniting again after many years apart and that its kinda big(being NOS Alive the only show they are going to do) but i dont think it justifies being the headliner for that day
I've always thought I'd like to do that festival would you recomend it if the line up was decent?

“We’ve only been to South America once but that was pretty phenomenal. The countries in Europe that have a real similar vibe to South America are Spain and Italy. We had a great tour of Canada in 2005 incredible [sic]. It’s cool to know there are still places that we haven’t played. We haven’t played Alaska, we haven’t played Iceland, and we really need to get back to Finland because we played a show there in 93 with Neil Young that was not the best,”

Was having a conversation/debate this summer with some fellow PJ fans about them doing Gillette. I think they’d be able to do it. Wouldn’t like it (worst traffic and commute imaginable) but they could sell 60k in the Boston area I think.

Agreed on all points. They could do it...but I hope they don't.

I’m not sure about Gillette... the resale wasn’t insane for the last 2 Fenway shows.
If they test the waters for a football stadium, I would think they would only attempt Seattle or New York for now
