It's interesting that Harris has taken such a beating after the segregation cheap shot.  I think as it marinated over a few weeks,  people understood that it was dirty and have punished her for it.  Good on the voters.
Yeah I think she got some support after that "busing" stuff in the first debate just for the performance aspect of it all. Grandstanding is what she does best after all.

Gabbard going after her over her record as California's DA might have contributed to her tanking in the polls as well.

Liz has now apologized for the dna test. Took her 10 months. Seems like more massive dishonesty from her.

Despite what the polls say now, someone this disingenuine and terrible at countering trump attacks is the dems best chance at defeat in our misogynist country.

    What is dishonest?

why does the left continute to beat up on susan sarandon? I mean, isn't she allowed to support whichever candidate she wants? or is there something I'm missing from this? is it because she is a woman she was "supposed" to support hillary? I mean, come on.

I don't understand the context of this.  Did something happen?
If I remember from 16, she was not helpful in the general.

I'm on twitter. occasionally I check to see what's "trending". I don't follow celebrities (just a few musicians), and she was trending yesterday, and it seemed to start with debra messing had tweeted at her "how's that revolution going?" or something like that. And I keep seeing other hateful tweets about her, seemingly simply because she isn't supporting warren this time or clinton last time.

what do you mean by "helpful in the general"? she didn't like clinton. case closed. she wanted bernie, and voted for jill stein. she did say that she thought maybe trump would be better than clinton in that it would "bring on the revolution quicker", in essence, I think what she means by that is a radical swing to the left once everyone sees what trump is about. I can certainly appreciate what she is saying. ultimately, she believes no one person in the white house can cause enough damage to really be concerned (I disagree with her on that). but a lot of people believe in the checks and balances of the system. the big problem, as I see it, is the supreme court. that has immensely long lasting effect.

  • (CNN)The third round of Democratic primary debates, hosted by ABC and Univision, will take place the second week of September. Presidential candidates have until late August to reach polling and grassroots fundraising thresholds set by the Democratic National Committee.

Candidates must receive contributions from at least 130,000 individuals, coming from at least 400 unique donors in 20 or more states. They also need to reach 2% in at least four DNC-approved polls.
So far, 10 candidates have met both thresholds, qualifying them for the debates scheduled for September 12 and 13:
      1. Former Vice President Joe Biden
      2. New Jersey Sen. Cory Booker
      3. Mayor Pete Buttigieg
      4. Former Housing and Urban Development Secretary Julián Castro
      5. California Sen. Kamala Harris
      6. Minnesota Sen. Amy Klobuchar
      7. Former Rep. Beto O'Rourke
      8. Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders
      9. Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren
      10. Businessman Andrew Yang

Why is there a funding threshold? What has the money to do with anything?

They have to find a way to weed people out...or they'd have 2,000 candidates at the convention.

Why not just go by polling?

What you detailed is my definition of not helpful,  that is not helpful to the Democrat trying to defeat the Republican.

I personally believe that hard core Bernie supporters and probably Bernie himself were okay with Trump winning.  If he didn't,  the would be no Bernie 2020.

If polling is fake news. Then why is it a criteria?

Buddy, you are asking questions that are going to get you clipped by the Clinton Crime Family.

That isn't what Jill Biden is saying.  You're misunderstanding the nuance of the statement.
