are the people going to Dublin for St Patricks Day aware that there is a big Ireland rugby match on that day....

i'm not being antagonistic or anything... but the idea of being in a pub on the busiest drinking day of the Irish year was bad enough... but to compound it it'll be rugby fuckheads all over the place as well!!!

average serving time for 1 pint of guinness suddenly becomes 3.4hours!!!

If the flights were cheaper i was going to go.. but me and mrs dunk are going to London in february noo  booked it all last night!!
oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.
  • i just checked the date, which is fine... but i'm sure flights are crazy expensive that time of year! :(

If you don't do week-end flights (ie Friday to Sunday), you can still get very reasonable ones. Ryanair also have a sale on!

I'd love to meet folks... but heres the catch!!

    Its 21st Feb-23rd Feb which is a Wed-Fri!!!

We dont arrive until 3pm on the wed and we are away friday morning!!! Thursday night is our only "free" night and so it seems unfeasable to arrange to meet folks :(

plus our train leaves at 9.06am on the friday morning.... :(

It was great, very relaxing. :)
We did some walking/hiking, and got to a little waterfall
some hiking to find a really old tree which was HUGE and really cool
some fishing, some kayaking down a river and into a lake
    some kayaking around the lake
some sleeping, and indoor games (when it rained)
and lots of eating delicious homemade food, hence why I am on a diet now
    :o

In the google toolbars, you can add a little 'translate' button...

translation is crap but it gives you a rough idea....
