Yep, it’s cause of the Hollywood Bowl show the next day. Would have been my first time seeing them. Oh well, I picked up tickets this morning for Bon Iver at an outdoor amphitheater in Missoula with the refund money.

Saw them last Tuesday in Grand Rapids. They are knocking it out of the park on this tour.

I get it, but a little harsh.  Maybe they should add some cannabis edibles or tinctures to the vendors menu.

Roger is a living SAINT, his work alone for me with TCT is above and beyond what any other celebrity has ever done so people should respect his wishes especially if it jeopardizes his ability to sing and perform! Imagine being responsible for him walking off and the show getting canceled. I was there in Chicago in 06' the first time this happened and he left the stage but, thank God it was near the end and PT sang lead on an extended My Generation.

How the heck do guys their age do it?  I get up most morning running on three pistons, feeling like the battery is almost dead, the tires nearly flat and the carburetor is gummed up.  Gotta give those geezers much credit!

I really wanted to beat the guy in front of me over the head with his own phone.  He was obviously a big Who fan but he recorded the entire fucking show on his phone except for a few slower tunes.

After Tool I really wish all artists would go the "no phones" route.  I had really good seats but was distracted by his bullshit in my view all night.

What a pain in the ass.

To use a sports analogy these guys are simply great athletes, they have always been the most physical band onstage and I believe it has helped them to endure a longevity that most other bands can only dream of!

  • Got cheap tickets for their show at Citizens Bank Park in Philly last Saturday and they were impressive.  Daltrey's voice is in amazing shape for 75 (?) and Townsend was great also.  I thought Zak Starkey was the MVP of the show and the Orchestra was cool too.  My first time seeing the Who and I couldn't have asked for more, well maybe the Seeker.
