My friend was able to get pre-sale tickets for Philly & MSG.

We may just go to MSG.

I got decent seats on the floor on Pete's side, which is really all I wanted.  Those VIP packages are too high!

The Kids Are Alright documentary/cd has in my opinion the best version of Baba O'Riley that I've ever heard. Keith Moon is bashing on a Gong for part of it, and John Entwistle's bass is just sooo stellar.  And Pete's windmill is in full swing.  Rogers is swinging the mic like nobody else can.
Another great topic Brian, thanks for starting another great topic.
Here's that's great to version of Bubba

Expensive TIX to see The Who @ Alpine Valley.
$300-$400 really close.  The prices varie
A LOT!! based on how centerd you are more than what row.  A ticket stage left row G is $164 + fees bullshit so add $25 $190 a pop!!.  Just Two seats closer to the middle SAME SECTION same Row G $499.50 + fees. $525 ish... yikes!
How does an average couple or average joe go to concerts anymore.  That is a super expensive date night for a couple.  I thought Pearl Jam's prices last year were way high @ $122 a pop.  Geeze.
Lawn seats fot The Who are $63+ fees.  So we'll probably do that. $88x2=$176 for 2.  Its nuts and thats befour $40 tshirt & $15 beers.

I'll have to settle for a DVD if they put one out.

Yeah everything on the field at Fenway is either $175.00 plus fees (ending up at $215) or higher (extra 20 bucks for aisle seats, damn you Live Nation you thieving bastards) and real good seats are $300 plus fees but not available at that price cause all those seats seem to be the VIP packages at either $505.00, $815.00 or $1,295.00 a ticket. Screw that. I've seen them a number of times, in much better concert venues.
    This weekend we rock Portland

That's really the way to go.  My prince was surprised a few years ago when we flew to Anaheim for the Quad tour (no Texas shows!) without tickets.  We bought excellent tickets the morning of the show.  A minor disappointment that we were on Pino's side instead of Pete's but still great.

But these prices are mind-boggling.  Course I've said that for the last 3 tours.

I got two tickets for Edmonton (yuck) for $66 each, Canadian. They are nosebleeds but I’m happy to be in the building and not have my wife freaking out about more concert tickets.

Toronto re-scheduled from 6/1 to 9/3 and 3rd Hollywood Bowl show added but, Edmonton canceled for that to happen. My favorite band of all time and will be seeing them for the 16th time since 82' at Alpine Valley on 9/8 but, that's pretty shitty what they just did to the people of Edmonton! Reviews for MSG show are phenomenal!!

Always reinventing themselves but, this is truly amazing at their age what they are attempting and apparently pulling off gloriously. PT's songs especially from Tommy & Quadrophenia were always meant to be explored in this way so better late then never! New album and PT novel by the end of the year, if you are a WHO fan all you can do is SMILE!
