Silversun Pickups

Just met the band @ Bullmoose in Portland, Maine tonight! SSPU is one of my favorite bands and I can't believe I had a chance to meet them. I brought Pikul (vinyl), Swoon and Carnavas cd's to be signed, plus had my picture taken with the band. Carnavas is one of the albums that inspired me to listen more to new music and try discovering new artists. The band was real nice and joking around with all the fans. I love the stuff that Bullmoose is doing to connect fans with their favorite music artists. Earlier this year, I saw Wilco play an acoustic set at another store Bullmoose location (right next to band!). Good stuff!

Love this new song!  Already pulled the trigger on the colored vinyl release of the new album they had on their site.

new album, Widow's Weeds, came out yesterday.  Listening to it now, pretty solid IMO.
