    Best Buy is doing a vinyl clearance on their website and I picked up Swoon for $7.99. I think Carnavas is even cheaper on there so check it out!

    I'm definitely looking forward to their new album!

    New song doesn't exactly blow me away but it's not bad. Looking forward to the the album.

    Also, I think the vinyl is sold out from Best Buy.

    was watching them recently, and i think i already mentioned this in this thread, but chris Guanlao the drummer has a wierd way of setting up his kit, with the crash set up so its like he has to sit up from where he is sitting to hit it. it looks so wierd

    No, but I'm taking the chance that it is. On the SSPU site, the Ultimate Package with yellow vinyl states "LIMITED EDITION AVAILABLE EXCLUSIVELY ON SILVERSUNPICKUPS.COM" while the yellow vinyl alone just states "LIMITED EDITION YELLOW COLORED VINYL".

    And Amazon accepts returns easily.

    $12.20 for shipping on the vinyl from their website! And crappy that they make you go through the entire order process in order to see the shipping charges. I think I'll just keep my Amazon Prime order for $18 - at half the cost. I don't need a yellow vinyl that badly!

    Created my own pre-order set--- bought the yellow vinyl from their site and an autographed Neck of the WoodsCD from newburycomics. People who have heard the album through test pressings say its very very good

    Got my vinyl from Amazon today and it is on black vinyl, but it does come with a download code, so I'm happy. I'm not loving the album so paying twice the price for a yellow one wasn't worth it.

    terrific album. definitely a "listen to as a whole" record rather than a standout track here and there. And that's a good thing. Hard to hear anything else that could get on the radio tho for their sakes. Every song is like a journey.

    i'm happy when bands keep evolving.

    i listened to it yesterday. Pretty kick ass. A little different than their previous albums. A little more "Rawer" least the first half of the album. Def. up there for album of the year so far :thumbup:

    I received the limited edition yellow vinyl yesterday. It's a clear see through vinyl that looks sharp. 1st time listening to the album, I really liked it.

    I have a friend who worships SSPU and while I have the first two, I hadn't gotten around to listening to the new one yet. I saw him last week and asked what he thought of it and he said it was utter garbage and couldn't believe how they could screw up so bad. He looked heartbroken. I mean this guy swore they could do no wrong and was obviously pumped for it. I kinda wanna hear it more now. :lol:
