Of course it is not "provable." There's no data or research to show if blacks voted for Obama because he was black. That would require people to admit that, and I'm willing to bet most wouldn't. But looking at the statistics it is overwhelmingly obvious.
And it was not the ONLY factor, but like cincy said, it was by far the biggest and all the rest are insignificant by comparison. 
Facts are still first black president from 2008/2012 elections. Black voter turnout were in record numbers for 2008 and 2012 elections. In 2016 it dropped to where it was for previous years. It may not be the only factor, but it is the only factor that had any significant impression. 

What other reasons could there be to explain the spike and sudden drop that are as bigger or bigger than the color of the person on the ticket?

Because Obama's campaign targeted them, knowing if they could get them to the polls they would vote for him. Especially in the urban/suburban areas. It's still not easy to get urban poor people to vote, regardless of color. It's difficult to get Americans in general to go out and vote. No Republican would invest the effort to target poor black communities bc it would be a waste of time. It's not so much a case of the black voter going out to vote for a black candidate as it was the candidates campaign getting them out to vote. That is a big difference.

So the campaign knew the black communities would vote for a black president and campaigned accordingly is what you're saying? I could agree with that, and is essentially what I've been saying. They voted for him because he;s black, you only added that the campaign was aware and made a strategy of that. Who wouldn't?
