Less than 4 years for Manafort? What a joke. White collar crime pays.0

But he’s “humiliated”. Well, good. Though the word should be “ashamed”, but that suggests an acknowledgement of culpability.dignin said:Less than 4 years for Manafort? What a joke. White collar crime pays.my small self... like a book amongst the many on a shelf0 -

Just saw it was 19 to 24. Definitely got odd very soft. 24 million in restitution will smart bit though.0

Ellis took it easy on him and it’s a shame this judge was erratic throughout the trial let’s hope the next judge will be different in the sentencing of him , total white collar sentencing a person of color or joe smoe would of gotten 30 fucking years ..jesus greets me looks just like me ....0

This is what it's like to be a powerful, wealthy, white man in America. No remorse, no apology, nothing. And he gets less than 4 years - with 9 months served - not sure if that comes off of the 47 months.dignin said:
I heard 6 to 24 million. Betting it's on the lower end after this sentence.mrussel1 said:Just saw it was 19 to 24. Definitely got odd very soft. 24 million in restitution will smart bit though.
Blameless life? Are you kidding?
And his lawyer basically only said 'no collusion' afterwards. Didn't thank the judge or say his client is grateful. Both Manafort and the attorney were speaking to one person and it wasn't the judge.
I wonder if the pardon is in the works for after his Washington DC sentencing........0 -
apparently, what i read, is that the idea is he went light as it lessened the possibility of trump pardoning him, and also, he faces sentencing next week by a judge for other crimes who is likely to throw the book at him and can make the sentences run consecutively.Your boos mean nothing to me, for I have seen what makes you cheer0

This sounds like a silver lining more than the intent by the judge. But perhaps...HughFreakingDillon said:apparently, what i read, is that the idea is he went light as it lessened the possibility of trump pardoning him, and also, he faces sentencing next week by a judge for other crimes who is likely to throw the book at him and can make the sentences run consecutively.0 -
Get ready for some CRAZY cooked job numbers today.
A quick stop down Jeff Sessions way, where said phony job numbers will be touted (because what says massive tornado relief better than jobsjobsjobs) and then off to Florida! 2 hours is PLENTY of time to solve what ails sweet home Alabama.

The material is endless. Everyone knew what a joke he was and remains to be.
And the US elects him to serve as president? That's a major f**king turnover of the cosmically ignorant variety. I mean... there are people that eat mattresses for kicks- so I understand that the fat orange man would have a fan base... but electing him as the president?

            ooops my bad.
Weak Jobs Report Clouds the Economic Picture
Employers increased payrolls by only 20,000 in February, a stark contrast to the two preceding months.
