Oh BOY, CYA BARR DOES NOT LIKE TO BE ASKED QUESTIONS BY WOLF BLITZER!
He’s screaming at Wolf, blinking his eyes rapidly and looking askew when trying to cover Team Trump Treason’s ass. When pressed for evidence or to back the claim or explain the what, where, who or why, he gets super pissy. He also doesn’t take responsibility. Won’t even condemn Putin on the ritz and Russia interfering in our election. Stunning. Believes China is a bigger threat to our election. Out of touch with our intelligence community. Stunning.
If you missed it, you have to watch it. He’s a pouty pouty pouty boy just like his boss. It almost makes me pine for a Darth Cheney interview. Almost.
Twenty years from now, historians in other countries* will rate Barr in the top-5 architects of the American autocracy. Sure, Trump was always going to appoint someone that would work for him at the peril of the country, but Barr did it so effortlessly; he was truly special. I think he may even be ranked #2 under Moscow Mitch and ahead of Trump himself.
*Our historians won't be allowed to write about such things

If Campbell’s Soup and Progresso were true patriots, they’d make their soup come in 1oz or 64oz cans, made of paper. But since they’re part of the Deep State, that ain’t happening. So I bet Team Trump Treason is drafting an EO to ban soup sales. NO SOUP FOR YOU!

"As I wade through the flood of news today, all of it trying to tilt the
playing field toward Trump in the upcoming election, it strikes me there
is an elephant in the room that we really need to identify: why is
Trump so hell-bent on reelection? He has made it clear he doesn’t
particularly like the job. He has no real goals for a second term. He
feels victimized by the media and his opponents. He prefers Florida to
Washington, D.C., and he really likes to golf. He claims to be wealthy
enough to do whatever he wants. So why on earth is he apparently
determined to bend our democracy to the point of breaking in order to
win reelection to a job he doesn’t seem to want to do?"

it's no secret a lot of people think he wants to remain in office simply to avoid prosecution.

He doesn’t own the business, so yeah, something to see.
But he owns the building that was destroyed.
That doesn’t seem to be how it was presented.
Exactly. The former owner was holding the sign for the business he does not own.
Its a sign (with his name on it) from the building he does own, which is his business currently, making money off the building. With the building destroyed, his tenant is not going to pay him rent, so his business is in fact affected. So while it may not have been 100% full disclosure, there really wasn't anything tremendously deceitful. The left/media running with it will only fuel Trump's base with more "fake news" accusations.
We have words, and words have meaning.
“John Rode III, owner of Rode’s Camera Shop,” President Trump is heard saying on TV as he introduces Rode.
clearly what trump said is false and factually incorrect.
this is why I am concerned. Millions of Americans will misrepresent facts to defend this man, even when his words are absolutely false.

I assume she posits answers, as her daily notes are quite long. But the answer is obvious. He care so deeply about America and Americans that he's willing to forgo his great life of golf and sleeping on piles of money to fight for YOU! And ME! US!
The real answer is probably some combination of:
Ego and insecurity: Few incumbents lose their re-election. He doesn't want to be one-term. He certainty isn't secure enough about himself to withstand that.
Money: He didn't really have a lot of it in 2016. He's making money now and can keep making money. Russia probably plays a role here.
He actually thinks he'll land in jail if he loses. I just don't see it happening but it's easy for me to say when I'm not the one who keeps hearing the media talking about it.

Except its not just the "media talking about it." There are active continuing investigations. Multiple investigations over a broad range of subjects and potential violations of law. Chickens coming home to roost. But word on the street is Hillary, Obama and Comey are going to be indicted, any day now.

Add in that he needs to be the same or better than Obama in every way possible so he'll run to prove that as well. He needs to lose in a major way so both he and his die hard supporters realize the majority of the country does not like him.

it wouldn't matter if he gets zero votes. in his mind he's still far superior to obama.
I'm not sure...I think those that scream loudest about their greatness sometimes have the most insecurity about it. I think he might have a bit of an inferiority complex when it comes to Obama. Actually when it comes to a lot of people.

it comes off like that to normal people. because we're normal.
