Yes, so a Skor Bar is the same as that thin Daim bar (and is a little bit tastier than Daim, but not much - the Daim pieces are much cheaper at IKEA than buying Skor bars, so that's why I like it, haha).

Skor means "shoes" in swedish... haha. But yes, looks the same. Who knows, maybe Daim was ripped from that one in the 70s or whenever Daim (then called Dajm) was introduced.

Looks like it was the other way around. :)

Skor is a candy bar produced by The Hershey Company. It was first marketed in the United States in 1981 and later launched in Canada in 1983. "Skör" (with umlaut dots over the "o") is Swedish for "brittle", and the crown that appears in the product's logo is identical to that found in the Swedish national emblem of Tre Kronor ("Three Crowns"). However, most read the name as “Skor” since you do not see the umlaut dots. Skor is the Swedish name for shoes.

These are my favorite candy bars ever. I ate close to an entire box once when I was 11 or 12 years old. Pretty dumb, but man these are good.
  • I send back a daim (+ some limited edition daim flavour If available) If someone can send me a skör/skor :)

Get in my way, punk, ya gonna get ya ass beat

    Do it to your daddy
    Embarrass your whole family
Just cause you came between a kid and his candy

    I need candy

    Any kind'll do
Don't care if it's nutritious or FDA approved
It's gonna make me spaz like bobcats on booze
    A hyperactive juice

    Westmont.
A tiny little strip of bars/restaurants between Haddonfield and Collingwood.  (Which are both dry towns (byo))
San Marzano tomatoes.  Sauce actually tasted similar to mine.  (Better but very close!)
    Crust was really fantastic.

Between these and the pics Scruffy posts, I’m starting to give in to the fact that NJ/NY pizza might be > Chicago pizza. It pains me to say it, but I’m an honest man.

    Good man!

And, yes, there are still dry towns.  My wife wanted to look in nearby Morsetown....and some of the homes were lovely, it was on a list in a national mag for best places to live....and then she told me it was a dry town.
I said no fucking way. She explained that you could BYO, they just did not sell in town.
No fucking way.  Just on principle.

I believe it is Moorestown you are referring to and yes it is dry.  But alcohol is not very far.

    Yes, correct.
Nice town.  Dumb and ancient rule.

    I'm kinda okay with it.

I'd never move there, but if the people there value sobriety and feel alcohol doesn't add anything to their lives and they don't want to be impacted by others consuming it... who are we to say? A bunch of like-minded people clustering in their own area and impacting nobody else seems okay to me.

    I dunno. I'm stupid.
