This may sound insane but seeing as they haven’t hit what I really want which is a ‘96 show, my second hope would be to totally break the mold completely and give us a recent show that sounds incredible, like a 2013.  A 6 disc, 3 hour monster set from 2013.  Charlottesville, OKC, etc....

just totally shock us all and give us a modern beast on wax.

Yes!! Exactly!  We all expect these already somewhat released, missing songs, etc shows now.  Just flip the script for one vault and give us a beast from 2013

As much as I don't want a 2013 vault release (I'm not a vinyl collector/listener), there are indeed MANY incredible shows from that year.

Me too.  It was an amazing show.  Definitely underrated from that tour.

I suppose the problem is it's over 3 hours.  45 mins is long for a record, so at best it's probably 5 record set...

I was just thinking of phish for some reason, and they shocked me a few years back when they came out of the blue on rsd with a 6 disc set from New Years 98 I think it was.  Tons of recordings of it out there, all their shows are available.  But the fact that they just put it in vinyl was just awesome.  That’s all I’m saying, the three disc sets are great but the whole vault thing has gotten kind of stale to me.  Just need to mix it up and give us a big one

When do they normally announce the next vault? I’m hoping for anything from 93-2000.

Live albums aren't really made for Vinyl, with the switching of sides and length of shows etc.

I'm starting to feel I want the next Vault top be a Live on two legs compilation, but from the Asian tour of 95 or some other tour we don't have much stuff from. Fill up one vinyl with songs, and stop selling them for close to 100 bucks.

i dont mind varying audio sources when it comes to live PJ as long as the audio is clear.  There were soundboards and DATs and all different bootlegs in the 90s and they all sounded different.  I just care about the performance.

So a LO2L vault would be awesome like that.  Then they dont have to sweat not having all of this show or that show.  Make us a mix tape for one vault.

Vault should be1 show. If they do a compilation it should be a full release as done previously

I think for the Vault though, it would make more sense to be a highlights of, such as Night 1 and 2 at Randall's Island, along those lines vs a second Live on 2 Legs.

Yes, it really is awesome, even without my bias from having been there right up front in my hometown. The setlist is fantastic and the band's mood was really upbeat, a few funny fuck ups from EV, who was in a good mood ... it's a particularly entertaining boot.

I know they play them a virtually every show but I'd argue that Vancouver 2013 has the best versions of Black and Alive from that tour.
