saw this on twitter yesterday. interesting how it basically started a twitter war between a bunch of old wwe wrestlers. road dogg, for example, was disgusted. shane helms thought it was a decent spot, and not to mention, it was at a bar that was 21+. wwe did MUCH WORSE on national tv with kids watching and in the audience. katie vick anyone? mae young giving birth to a hand? the corporation being covered in shit?
    Darwinspeed, all.

    Cheers,

Sweet. I never knew what her list of favourites were. She's amazing. The story of how she left the business after having her confidence shaken, and then returned is amazing. I really hope we see her with some gold again soon. She comes across as being a genuinely nice person.

She was super nice!  Very approachable and we had a brief conversation about Pearl Jam before grabbing the picture and going on our way.

Interesting to see how All Elite Wrestling (AEW) does.  They already signed Jericho and Pac (aka Neville).  Looks like Kenny Omega is gonna sign with them as well.  Wonder how many current WWE wrestlers are gonna sign when their contracts are up?

was gonna post about this. So many NXT wrestlers will be coming up they won't be able to keep everyone,

That's awesome. Lots of people in the Irish scene speak very highly of her, even years before she made it to WWE. She's our hometown hero!

    My Royal Rumble predictions

    Men's winner: Seth Rollins
    Women's winner: Charlotte Flair
    Brock Lesnar over Finn Balor
Daniel Bryan over AJ Styles by DQ
The Miz and Shane O'Mac over The Bar for the Smackdown belts
    Ronda Rousey over Sasha Banks
Asuka over Becky Lynch (would like to see Becky win but think Asuka deserves the title a little longer)
    Rusev over Shinsuke Nakamura
Hideo Itami wins the 205 belt in the four way match

possible surprise entrants: Bray Wyatt, Hulk Hogan, Kurt Angle, Bludgeon Bros. and hopefully either Kevin Owens or Sami Zayn (but hearing they aren't quite yet ready to return.

Missed NXT Takeover last night but from what i heard it was pretty great.

  • I'm surprised they did that spot where Nia Jax entered the men's Rumble and got hit with like three different finishing moves. I liked it, and women have taken beatings from men in WWE before (Chyna, Lita, Stephanie, Mae Young among others) but in today's PC world, I'm surprised they did it

When Dolph super kicked her I about choked. Figured they’d give her a soft exit where she clotheslined someone else and went overnight with them or somebody dodged and pulled the ropes. Most cringey thing to me was seeing the two dudes struggle to lift her over the ropes. Thin line they have to skirt. Not offeneded whatsoever but I’m surprised they’re risked the backlash.

Solid PPV all around I thought. Kinda predictable though. Was really hoping Bray Wyatt was gonna return. No Way Jose was a wasted spot. Didn't mind Nia Jax in there. Wasn't the first time a woman was in the men's Royal Rumble.  Also a "man" won the women's royal rumble

It's very strange to me that they announced that he won't be renewing his contract. I'm quietly hoping that some kind of work is going on right now.
