I watched his WWF World title victory against Ivan Koloff with a friend earlier. It's crazy how rabid the audience are for it. It couldn't work today.

It's hard to find with good audio, but if you ever watch Koloff's title victory over Sammartino, you would have thought you were watching a funeral from the crowd's reaction.

Yes I have seen it before somewhere, probably You Tube. But like most things from that era, the audio kind of swells and drops off in places. It's one event that everyone says the same thing about in interviews and books though. You could hear a pin drop. I believe it was in Baltimore?

No it was MSG. You're thinking of Sammartino's second time losing the title when he lost it to Superstar Graham. That was in Baltimore.

Remember watching this on tv and taping it on VHS. Most watched wrestling even in television history happened on this date.

The Main Event. that was awesome. it was on a friday night. I was pissed when it went over and the tag match got cut.

Cool. I think that might be the one that I have seen footage of then. I read about Ivan Koloff's victory before and heard it reviewed on podcasts.

I read on Cultaholic that Arn Anderson was fired due to an incident that happened at a show which Vince McMahon blamed him for. It's a shame.

ell that was one of the better RAW's in a while. Roman Reigns returns and announces he's in remission from leukemia. And the ending when Batista "attacked" Flair. Didn't quite see that coming. Knew something was gonna happen cause of the time but wasn't expecting that.

I'm all in for Batista vs. Triple H. However, I find it interesting that Hunter is being framed as the babyface. I'm wondering is this one of the years where he puts himself over at WrestleMania? He hasn't won a match on the biggest show of the year since he faced Sting at 31 in 2015.

The Triple H matches at WrestleMania are often given a lot of time and effort, due to the fact that one of the bosses is participating in them. There's usually a storyline, as opposed to 4 guys thrown into a match for a midcard title.

Since DX are getting in and the Four Horsemen are in. Do you think the NWO get in? Hulk deserves to be a 2 time entry along with Flair

Maybe in a few years. Only problem with putting them in is there were like 30 different wrestlers in there, but I guess go with the original of Nash Hall and Hogan?
