Society in general seems to be trending in the direction of “everyone gets a trophy.” All that does is lead to mediocrity. Maybe I’m wrong, but my observation is that it has become the new normal and my way of thinking is in the minority. I’m not an expert on Hart’s Twitter habits at that point in his career, maybe he did frequently use it to voice his real life opinions on issues, but Twitter is one of the biggest ways that comedians promote themselves by tweeting (what they think are) funny things.0 -
