    We did already debate this. I noted my disagreement with your opinion on this one. But I'm still not clear on why we were debating it at all. By bringing GW into it and how you felt about him, you make it seem like you're normalizing or dismissing all the VERY terrible things that Trump has done and is doing and will do... It even made it sound like you're not even aware of most of what Trump has done outside of the Kanye-level stuff.

    Trump is less war-mongery than Bush.  Or Clinton.  Or Clinton.  Or Obama.

    And he's still worse.  Because still threatens the very essence of what America is (frailly, at this point) about.

    "President for life."  He's pretty old, but I think he envisions an America where one of his offspring becomes president for their life.  I'd laugh at that if 40% of the country and the only party that matters did not eat up everything he says.

    Trump himself said the POTUS should be impeached when this happens. So when do the proceedings begin?

    I think I can confidently say that those who would vote for Trump again because "the economy" will still vote him by turning a blind eye to how much Trump is fucking up the economy, because Trump will be assuring them that the economy he ruined is in great shape because of him.

    Ask any Trump supporter if they want this and they'll tell you "no."  And they'll mean it; it will be an honest statement.  But this shit doesn't happen overnight.  Germans didn't wake up one day to full concentration camps.  They were dragged along slowly.  Following a man who, for whatever reason, capture them.  Hearing about who their enemies were, over and over.  Hearing about how everyone else was lying.  How the media cannot be trusted.

    Trump has said some things that not only Obama and Clinton wouldn't have gotten away with, but Bush and even Reagan wouldn't have gotten away with. Things that push us in this direction.  The constant vilification of the "MSM."  "President for life."  He's dedicated to division and vilification.  And his party and followers haven't paused.  Not once.  It'll be interesting, particularly if he still has both houses of congress (which he will), how he pushes the envelope. And if he wins a second term (which he probably will), whether he starts more overtly laying the groundwork for Ivanka or Jr. to become something more than simply an  elected/term-limited president.  And whether his party will ever be willing to stop it.  Some people think we're crazy for thinking this; and frankly, I hope they turn out to be right. But he's dropping some hints...thank god he's not doing it in a tan suit.

    Nothing's too crazy to think about with Trump. One nightmare scenario that I envisioned was him getting re-elected (I'm with you...I think it's likely), and then following his second term, Don Jr. runs for president...with his father as his running-mate.

    Somebody said Trump is worst POTUS ever... I disagreed and believe W was... and can articulate why... nothing more, nothing less... I did not introduce that to the convoy, but I sometimes like to share my opinion, especially when it comes to my boo, W :blush:
