Glad this thread is still going strong even with many popular opinions being posted and many non-PJ related opinions.
I'll add a few more unpopular opinions: - PJ20 Night 1 has the most fun, unique setlist of the 20 shows I've been to ... and i still don't understand any of the hate for PJ20 overall - While it was cool that Moline got No Code front to back in terms of the uniqueness of the experience, i would say it's the PJ album with the worst sequencing and greatest number of setlist killers ... and therefore least conducive to a live front-to-back performance - Porch should be 3 1/2 minutes when played live
- And to add to a non-PJ one from above, Reload is the best Metallica album in the last 30 years
Fans that get insulted over any sort of criticism/discussion over something they love are boring. They should just stick on the “everything is awesome. Every song selection is perfect” thread.
I NEVER comment in the forum, but this is a brilliant topic (is that an opinion???) 1)I like Ed's voice now better than 20 years ago 2)Go, Animal and Worldwide Suicide have never been able to be strike a cord with me during at a show 3)Porch on SNL is better than any possible version in the world (with the unplugged coming a distant 2nd) 4)I would introduce my daughter to Jeff or Mike, but NEVER Ed or Stone 5)Running out of Sand along with Man Of The Hour and Slight Of Hand on Benny bring me to tears pretty much every time I hear them

-- Everything after And Justice For All is crap, they should have retired. -- AGREED. -- Pink Floyd is way better than the Beatles. -- AGREED, but everything after Meddle is meh (still better than the Beatles and almost anything but meh by Floyd's standards), and they peaked with The Piper at the Gates of Dawn. -- 2018 Rome poster is terrible -- LAY OFF THE PIPE.
Non-PJ - Bruce Springsteen is mostly a singles artist and has very few "complete" albums
LOL. This thread is unpopular opinions not farcical.
Well . . . maybe I should've stuck with the more "unpopular" descriptor, overrated. But then again, I don't see the comment as farcical. Farcical would've been John Mellencamp > than Bruce Springsteen. Outside of 2-3 albums and/or a couple albums worth of songs, I find Bruce to be meh . . . as a live artist it is a different story
Remove yourself from comfort . . . all progress involves risk
I've never really thought all that much of Cornell's voice.
Well, if you're gonna go unpopular, go all the way.
I agree with you, I could never get into Cornell.
Now I'm good friends with Mr . Mcgruff. But we are polar opposite on everything I think !
Lol. I think you are right. But we do like Italian women!
That s a fact. !
We probably agree on 95% but it is the 5% that really sticks out. I mean I absolutely love the vast majority of what pj does, I wouldn’t go see a band nearly sixty times if I had that much to complain about. I like this thread, everyone is still acting civil which is a rarity around here. It really doesn’t get Eddie vedder than this!

LOL. Suggesting Bruce has very few ‘complete’ albums is most definitely farcical. Maybe we can start a drunken opinion thread for you.
