My favorite posts are the ones with 20 items in a bulleted list. It hasn't occurred to them yet that maybe they don't actually like this band.
Not very good logic. A list of posts doesn’t equal not liking the band. It just means your line of thought about those particular things goes against what most people agree on.
I'm a little late to the thread but my closest PJ friend is still perplexed that I don't like Long Road as an opening song 😂 I don't properly know how to explain it but i just get a closing vibe to it but apparently I'm wrong!

If I must expound, it's when the 20 things are all negative about an album, songs, setlist construction, etc. Also, it was throwaway pithy snark.
I'm burned out on PJ live shows. Especially in GA. They are a lot of work and very stressful. Waiting in line, going to the bathroom is impossible, getting a drink is just as hard. Fans aren't as friendly these days. Venues are so large that it's mostly screen watching...
I'd rather see a smaller, lesser known band that I love in a small venue. It's much more raw and natural. Sound is better, seats (or none at all) are much better, and artists are almost always accessible before or after the show. Get to say hi, take a pic, buy some merchandise...
Another outlet for people to gripe about a band they belong to a fan club for is not needed.
Once again - in just to trash a thread?
You can add some unpopular opinions that are not gripes you know.
Like: - I think Jeff Ament is the most interesting lyrics-writer in the band. - I think the warmth of Riot Act and the laid back voice of Eddie on the album is majestic - They should play Gothenburg next time they visit Sweden/The nordic countries.

It is the place for unpopular opinions...and I see dozens of posts that either do not relate to Pearl Jam's music or are filled with what appear to be prevailing opinions here. Many other posts (like yours, here) are in response to a shared opinion which at least is unpopular to the respondent.
In general, I think that people are too critical and negative toward the band, here of all places.
Seems like a right spot to post what you clearly find an unpopular opinion.
Threads telling the band what they should or should not do...or crapping on their work, their beliefs, etc, are tired. My opinion. It is popular?
- Covers should be limited to 2 or 3. They should be played at the same time of the show, and a Surgeon General's warning should be displayed on the screens notifying how many minutes PJs music will be delayed so the fans in attendance for PJs music can grab a beer at that time.
- Baseball stadiums are absolutely horrible for concerts. Play an arena and charge me more.
-10c seniority policy for reserved seating that punishes newer members every show every tour is absolutely the worst ticket policy in the history of rock and roll.
- Charging the same price for prime floor seats and obstructed view nosebleeds behind a post is absurd and socialistic. Newer members get punished twice... for never getting a realistic shot at quality seats, AND subsidize the market value cost of the closer seats.
- Stopping the incredible freight train that is Corduroy at the amazingly emotional "absolutely nothing's changed" verse, one of the highlights of PJs vast and impressive library...to sing YEAH YEAH YEAH, and a take all the momentum and power from the song is a baffling and frustrating decision every time by Mr. Vedder.
-Constantly getting a popup of "draft saved" on this forum is absolutely beyond annoying.

Because I agree with most of your points (especially the Corduroy one), my only criticism of your post is that your thoughts aren't that "unpopular."

I’ll take Limp Bizkit’s version of Behind Blue Eyes over theirs. Basically any cover over their own version.
