Got something nice to say, say it here!!

There has been an awful lot of negativity, arguing and flipper bashing lately.

WE cant change how posters are sold or who buys them up first.

I think we could all use a safe place on the forum here, free from attacking each other and arguing over who is flipping a poster, or who didn't cut their toe nails this morning. Who likes Trump and who doesn't. On this thread, who cares. We aren't talking about that stuff. Don't turn this thread into a merch discussion and how we can make it better.

I know a lot of people here help others out with tour merch and free giveaways etc.

Lets share these stories here.

If you had a great day today because someone paid it forward and bought your morning coffee, Let us all know.

Life is too short for BS and there is a lot of it going around.

Lets go !!

I was able to see many friends as part of the Home/Away shows and am truly happy for this.
Made a few new ones as well.
Came away from the tour merch storm with 1 each of BK (Seattle/Fenway) to frame and hang....a t-shirt I wanted, and to be able to donate a few other posters.  This would not have been possible without the help of friends, along the way, including a few people I had never met before.

While in GA in Seattle for N2, I appreciated the kind souls who shared water, shelter from the blazing sun and kindness of company.
  • I just packed up a couple PJ posters and misc merch to donate for a raffle to benefit the family of a PJ fan who left this earth last week. It felt even better than hanging a framed poster on the wall.
  • Nice thread!  I was in Europe for my first 3 shows outside of Canada or USA, Prague, Krakow and Berlin.  My brother and I had a blast visiting incredible cities and meeting nice people from all over the world.  The PJ experience is great.  We even enjoyed the line ups for merch as they were occasions to meet with other great fans.  Looking forward to hear new music from PJ!!

A kind stranger sent me some things I missed in Chicago, stickers, buttons. I'm giving the Seattle and Boston sticker cards away with their corresponding mini-patches.

I bought my 6 year old a junior tennis racket today. Best part about it, it has a Unicorns on the frame.

I applaud the start of this thread, and it is funny how coincidental it is as I ran into a business competitor of mine this morning and he bought me my morning tea (no, I am not a coffee drinker).  I've been saying to myself for the past 3 hours that I need to pay it forward somehow today.  Looking forward to doing this.

Looking back at how lucky I was to see 7 amazing shows this summer. Prague - Krakow - Berlin - Seattle 2 - Wrigley 2 - Fenway 1 and 2. I could not have been able to see all these shows with out such a great family supporting me. My wife and my mother/mother in law did so much to allow me to have such an amazing run this year. I will be forever grateful to them and excited to see how I will be able to scramble things around and make the next tour work somehow, someway.

I really enjoyed the shows in Europe and met some great people from the forum there. You guys know who you are! With the shows in the states it was amazing to be able to see 4 shows with my wife in 3 cities. I was able to see a handful of songs in my Europe trip that she would have loved to have seen for the first time. Funny enough pretty much every song she was bummed about missing was played in our Home/Away shows. All or None, In My Tree, Tremor Christ and Sometimes. Just need LBC played and I would have been completely out of the doghouse. Boston was especially memorable since we made a 5 day vacation out of it with our 3 kids. They had a blast exploring Boston especially visiting the aquarium. Thanks again to all that I met and those to all that helped me get to these shows!

I'm still buzzing about my first PJ concert, and it was Wrigley 2.  I got to hear Black and Jeremy live and songs from Vitalogy.  I love Vitalogy!
The whole experience also impressed me and my wife, as the love and support and fervor the Pearl Jam community has for the band and each other is amazing!!  I'm so happy to have been a part of the experience.  :)

  • I truly discovered Pearl Jam for the first time this year and went to my first 2 shows.  The renewed energy it has given me in my day to day life is hard to put into words.  I've been riding a total high for the past 3 weeks since Wrigley N2 (my first) and then Fenway N1.  Met some awesome people at both shows and can't wait for the next one.

    I fully support this thread!
