Some posters on page 1 it was someone’s first ever post)on both fanviews have said things like “wo thanks ten club for putting us in row 5 dead center, I’ve never been there before “

was there a lottery? Was it not 1,2,9,10?
No, the lottery was the same as always. I was fifth row center last night and everyone around me was 10C members with similar five digit numbers and their guests.

Somebody already mentioned about so few repeats form night 1 and then when you look at the 2 nights as whole, so so moving moving & amazing.  Lately Nothingman has given me goosebumps as I reflect so really happy that was played.  Also I Am Mine is always great to hear.  So grateful to this band and it's great fans as always.

Night 1 was great on it's own but put in greater context merely seems like a warm-up for last night. Just wow. One of my favorite shows and setlists from this band. Crazy energy from beginning to end.

  • Amazing show last night. I was right next to pesky's pole, had a great view of everything and good sound. Show started out with a strong opening, and the crowd was in a frenzy. It was a hot, humid night, people packed in everywhere, but the crowd was into it. I know I was going crazy. It sounded loud to me, but to be honest I was screaming the whole night so it's hard to hear.

Highlights were Boom/Mike dual solos in Crazy Mary, Evenflow was one of the best I've heard live. Nothingman is special. Immortality and Red Mosquito (different bluesier version) were awesome. Even Lightning Bolt sounded good and that song's not that great.

Can't wait to see them again, hopefully in an arena!

  • Jeff's doodle at the end of Jeremy was great. He had a great night.
Will echo what everyone said about the crowd. Just fantastic. Super loud and attentive. Thumbing My Way and Nothingman were highlights. Loved the Modern Girl tag. Given to Fly opener was pretty cool. Sad that it'll probably be a couple years before I see them again.
Forgot about Jeff doing that riff at the end of Jeremy. I think it was the baseline for Sweet Emotion by Aerosmith, that was awesome. & I agree, he did have a great night. Stone too... man, I freakin’ love watching these guys play.

Arms Aloft kinda took the winds out of the sails after the GtF > Animal > Save You start but the crowd got back into it quick and strong at several times. My 6th show now and somehow the first time seeing Animal, Go and RVM so I was floored especially with the latter two ending the first encore. Been lucky enough to see Red Mosquito 3 times now B)  Also seen Crazy Mary a few times now and that was easily the best Boom solo ever, had a grin from ear to ear the entire time. Thank you PJ once again for an incredible show!

p.s. Anyone else see the blown-up condom balloons floating around section 95 toward the end of the night? There were at least half a dozen floating during YLB  =) fuckin weirdos haha

I texted something similar to someone during the show... feels like they're really trying hard to make this a staple even though it's kinda ho-hum... and there are MUCH better songs on that album too!

Agreed, Arms Aloft killed the momentum from the first three songs. They definitely got it back later though, and the crowd was REALLY into it as well, especially during Jeremy.

I very rarely post but wanted to share how crazy the energy was at this show. I am not a huge fan of the baseball stadium shows. I have been to a few at Wrigley and was never blown away ( even with the high winds and rain each time). What I did not like at Wrigley is that I was just in the seating bowl on the 3rd base side and there was a big gap between us and the people on the field. It made it feel like I was watching others enjoy a good show vs enjoying a good show. Fenway was totally different. We were just in the bowl again but between first and right field wall and very close to the crowd on the floor. Having a few feet advantage higher was cool, it was great to see the crowd and band like that. Everyone was rocking out and losing minds around us. Boston is great, Fenway is wonderful and the people were amazing. I had so much fun all night.

Went to both Fenway shows... thank you 10C!!!!

Both were great in their own way.... crowd definitely better night 2... band felt tighter night 1... night 2 felt a little rushed to get it in most likely due to so much being cut from night 1... (still not clear why they didn't start at 7:30 both nights)... Both shows had their highlights and both had their minor flow hiccups... highlights from night 2 - GTF > Animal > Save You, Thumbing My Way, Smile... Loved the Buffalo Tom song night 1 but once was good for me... Would have loved Dirty Frank instead of Dirty Water! but I guess the band wanted to get everyone out on stage one more time (Danny Clinch and Buffalo Tom guy). Overall edge (for me) goes to Night 1.

Super fun 2 nights. Thx again 10C!

    Would've loved Missing this weekend
Yes I was hoping for this too. Great energy last night. My highlights were Arms Aloft and Can’t Deny Me. The first set slayed. If they put that first set last night with the first encore from night one, yikes. Great show as always.

The energy was much better last night than night 1.  I can't believe that was show #26 for me, and I have gotten at least 1 new song every single show (except HOF...)  What other band does that?  Now to wait impatiently til another tour is announced.

Fun show last night. I think Arms Aloft is an excellent song, and I look forward to hearing it each time it's played. It was a highlight for me. I'm not sure why some people feel it affects the momentum of the show, I guess it's individual taste. I just wish they had kept the original lyrics and not changed "Aberdeen" to "Fenway Park."

I was in B94 last night.  B97 on night one.  Sound was not good.  I heard people that were further up (row TT and higher) that it was really bad under the overhang.

I'm sure it sounded better on the floor and in the center but on my side it was muffled....not very loud and not very clear.

I didn't have that complaint at Wrigley with similar seating.

I had a great time N1 in GS29 under the overhang and sound quality was not great, but I was at a PJ show so not complaining :-). I also like Arms Aloft as a fun tune and have not seen it live. While at N1, based on setlist and Periscope, would have preferred N2 but could not swing both this time around.  I am already thinking about when and where my next show will be!

I was in the same sections for the same nights, and I was surprised the sound was as bad as it was.

I agree about Hartford 2013. They kicked ass that night. I still am watching YouTube videos from that show.

Hartford 2013 was the loudest show I've seen, by far, and an incredible night all around.
I was at Hartford 2010 and thought the crowd was looooooooouuuuud.  I can't imagine how loud 2013 was.
Setlist looked great last night!  I can't believe the crowd was loud and there was no GA.  ;)

these were shows 7 & 8 over the last 15 years, with the last 4 of them being at Fenway.

we were up top on Sunday (deep left field, near monster), crowd was quiet, show was OK (for PJ), sound was brutal.

Yesterday was another story.  Just awesome experience, mostly due to location.  By far the closest we've been, we were row 12 in A2, pretty close to center.  Great crowd and energy.  I'm in 10C, but we've got a high number.  bought these through the ticketmaster 'verified fan' on sale, so it's proof those work!

personal highlights was the Lighting Bolt & Red Mosquito combo... Lightnight Bolt kept building with a big outro solos, and Red Mosquito was a loud nasty blues jam between Mike & the dude on harmonica.  Maybe my enjoyment was simply due to just being up close, it also felt like these were some unique renditions.

overall I felt the band lingered a little more within each song (dare I say "jammed" a bit?) than they did on Sunday night. ...despite similar start times, end times, and song count, I just felt like Tuesday was a lot more relaxed & comfortable playing.

I probably preferred Sunday's encore selections and was bummed about Unknown Thought getting scratched, but overall, the Tuesday show was a better one.

We had a busy day getting our boys off to their first day of school (3rd & 4th grade) on Tuesday, and Wednesday morning we were up early getting our daughter off to day 1 of kindergarten, so Ed's emotional rambling about being regular folks who come together for these special moments resonated, and I'm sure we weren't alone there.

    Thanks PJ!
