These are valid concerns. I would also be grateful to be in the house...but come on! Really?!

Yeah, it’s great to be there for sure and awesome the 10club secured so many seats for fans. Just tough to pay high prices to have a terrible view. Ballparks just aren’t designed for concerts. Cool novelty but I’m ready for them to return to proper venues

I miss arenas.  No obstructions other than really tall people and that I can live with.

Heard that, mine were below sea level night one, but I still had a blast I just had to stand all night and rely on the screens. Still an amazing show and I was just stoked to be in the door.
This is really brutal. That's a 10C seat?! Such a seat should be way cheaper than other tix.
Lol, what the  hell am I looking at here? Are you in the, dugout?
It honestly looks like you're outside of the stadium and sneaking a pic. This is a seat...no less a 10C seat???
And so you see, I have come to doubt

I heard somewhere about a person that had obstructed tix night 1, went and talked to the venue who were releasing more tix that day and got different seats

Yeah baseball stadiums suck. Boston/Fenway is a special level of suck.

Beer lines suck. No beer vendors in stands. Early cut off, etc

I tried to get a beer at around 915 .. One stand ran out of beer  other stands has ridiculously long lines. I said fuck it I'll just get a diet coke, but they only had souvenir cups which were 8.75...fuck me

    Yeah...20 years...doesn’t make sense?
My husband got his membership in 1998-ish and hasn’t let it lapse. Don’t they just randomly draw seats now anyway? When I got mine in 2003, I thought it went by seniority for seating but not anymore?
Makes much more sense to live in the Present Tense.

  • I plan to write 10 Club. Our ticket did say “obstructed view” but I’d like to know WHY 10 club would allow a paying fan club member to get these shitty seats in the first place. Like we pay extra annual and we don’t get a choice of location. Why wouldn’t they just black out these obviously undesirable spots (not to mention, this was quite far from the stage. I could see the screens but barely see the band)

No way those are seats for someone with a 98 membership, likely not even a 2003 membership.

  • similar seats to thevachon nt 1 only I'm standing and by the dugout. Halfway through the show though 10-15 more privileged folk walk from inside the dugout to the gates in front and block the screen as well.

Happened in the midst of Black.

Was it through the verified fan presale or the 10club lottery? I know there was some confusion with that back when tickets went on sale

In the future, talk to the venue staff asap. The promoter is responsible for making sure that you can see from your purchased seat.

Local venue here has always LiveNation staff milling around, and offering people to switch seats if there's obstructions. For example, the Roger Waters show a couple of days ago had the screen going accross the floor blocking more views than expected. People got relocated to side-stage seats. I've had camera-cranes or speaker stacks blocking views even slightly and always got new seats or GA access due to that.

Thought the same thing. I joined in '98. Didnt go to Fenway, but had good seats for Wrigley. Row 17 of reserved in front of Mike both nights (directly in front of Mike N2, and directly in front of jumbo TV N2, I was happy with both). But no way this person has been a member for more than a couple years to get those seats.
The announcement did say they would have some seats very far back, so that is fair. I don't think they warned anyone of abstructed views. That would suck, and is a fair complaint.

I actually really enjoyed the ballpark show, I'd love to do it again. But I can imagine a different experience if I had bad seats.
