I watched a Youtube of a whole show (from Philly maybe?) Show would be tighter and stronger if they dumped all the shit between songs.
And the covers that aren't Landslide. And IDK if they should even be playing that.

True. But he's been doing this way longer than doing it that way.

True ;). I guess I have tried to not watch Corgan over the last two decades. I prefer to just listen.

Christ. The last time I saw him, he came out dressed like a Christmas tree. I was embarrassed for him. That was the night I gave up on the band

Happy to share. I have the super deluxe MCIS cd set. Amazing stuff.

Wasn’t a fan of the Mark McGrath interludes (just cuz I can’t stand that fucker) but the rest didn’t bother me. Having never seen them before & it being a reunion tour of sorts and BC just being a weirdo, I kinda expected the theatrics. But I get that some could find it a bit over the top. We’re polar opposites on the covers. I dug them except for Landslide. Never cared their version.

As much as I appreciate their (own) music, the covers and theatrics can go and it'd still be a great show. It works for Radiohead and PJ (the lack of theattics, not covers) so I think it would work for SP, too.

There's a high quality bootleg of the Seattle show out there (the whole show stream on twitter, but someone captured the satellite feed).  Makes me bummed I didn't go to the Seattle show.   Costs alot more to go to a Seattle show than Vancouver show.  Kind of wishing I went, but also hoping they play Vancouver at some point.

    ^100% plus one.

Really wanted to go on Friday but spent enough time/money seeing both PJ shows two weeks earlier that I had to pass on this one.

Doubtful that it'll happen it if they do end up playing Vancouver, I will be there!

So per Billy's Instagram, the Machina reissue will be the album 'as originally conceived' - i.e. the full double album with correct running order and newly commissioned artwork.   Not sure how I feel about this tbh.  I've grown so used to having them as two separate entities and was hoping for a straight remix/remaster job of both albums separately.  Ultimately I just hope they include everything that was on the Machina 2 bootleg, including the alt versions and demos.

Just checked the iTunes store, and Silvery Sometimes (Ghosts), which was up as a preorder (which I'd ordered) has disappeared.  Anyone have any insight on this, lol?

Also, happy to hear the Machina reissue is moving ahead, just hope there's options beyond the "originally conceived" running order (likely the super-duper box set will have all the versions, I'm guessing).

These were simply ripped (not by me) from the Seattle stream last weekend - nothing "official." If they are not allowed around here, my apologies and I will delete the post.

I never gave Machina 2 much of  a chance but I like Machina 1 and might give the songs more of a chance if they are intermingled with the ones from the original album.

Thanks!  I know what I'll be listening to after The Doors album I'm currently playing, lol.  Solid setlist, though I would like to see the later songs (even Zwan) which I've enjoyed (still waiting on the conclusion to Teargarden, lol!), but that's not the point of this tour, obviously.

I wasn't aware it was ever up for preorder.

I stumbled on it last week.  Saw a reddit thread that says the new music (8 songs at that point) was going to be released as 2 EPs, then they changed it to 8 singles, now it'll apparently (maybe?  Who knows with Billy's shifting whims, lol) an album.  Wait and see, I guess.

His Q&A stuff on instagram is something for the ages.  It goes anywhere from kind to grateful to informative to hilarious to confusing to strange to sarcastic to sometimes downright snobbery and back.  He's a range of emotions from one question to the next.  I always seem to miss the timeframe when he takes questions.  Not sure what I'd even ask.  I might just say thanks for playing Muzzle on the tour.

Saw a lot of Pearl Jam shirts and hoodies at the 2nd LA Forum Show. Too bad they went cheap on security, sucks when people keep taking peoples seats all around you and it’s one confrontation after another. Great show.
