What an album. Seriously. That riff and drums at the beginning of Brain of J get me hooked for the whole thing, and it’s a fantastic ride from then on!

Yield has been my favorite album since its release in 98.  Saw two incredible shows on that tour (E Lansing and Auburn Hills)

When I played Evolution to my wife for the first few times she hated it and then when she heard it live on tour it became one of her favorite songs. Because of that she tries never to prejudge a song. Haha!

This is an album that takes me back to a certain point in time.  Our kids were young...I was going through a job change, etc.  Really takes me back.

  • I have been on a Yield kick lately. I started playing In Hiding on guitar again. I hadn't played it in a while and just love it so much! I love to play MFC as well. Simple but great.

Faithfull and In Hiding (and MFC) indeed need more love, for sure. I do like Do The Evolution but playing it at every show does surprise me. It and Corduroy (which I love - without the "hey ho's," mind you) should rotate with each other.
