I thought it was an amazing show! From my perspective, the guys never disappoint because each show is so unique. I am so grateful! The opening gave me double goose bumps. The storytelling for Evenflow set off another round of em'. I am so honored to be a fan of an amazing group of men both on and off the field. And DAMN they can still rock! Can't wait for Friday night!!0

Anyone who complains about the set or the band must be insane. Any song live . Even alive or even flow. Kicks ass. Being at the show is what counts because there is no feeling in the world like it. Just be grateful ffs
this song is meant to be called i got shit, itshould be called i got shit tickets-hartford 06 -0 -
I got All Those Yesterdays which I've been waiting to hear live since the Yield tour. That made it worth the price of admission alone. It was also amazing seeing Breathe from the pit. I got that one at Seattle 13 too, but we had crappy tickets behind the state. Really enjoyed it.I thought the band was super tight and the show was pretty good. A pretty good warmup for Friday0

I love All Those Yesterdays and always miss the show they play RVM and would be thrilled to hear Numb. I'm not that hardcore or a chaser, so anything is great for me. Going tomorrow and excited for a 3 hour throw down in the pit. Solid set. People are moaning about the number of covers, but for me the highlight of the show was the cover of Comfortably Numb. I liked the fact that Mike used a Gilmour-ish black Strat and played a Floydian solo that really worked well with the mood of the song. Looking forward to Friday's show.

Still digesting last night. I have that post concert permanent grin
The opening of Long Road and Release (and Low Light) was so beautiful for me. I was in tears during release ... felt my own dad so close. Those two songs really hit me.
Other highlights:
- the story of Eddie and Even Flow. Song has a whole new meaning for me.
- C Numb. Just wow.
- Let Me Sleep. Never expected that. I love that little tune.
- NOTHING AS IT SEEMS!!!
So so happy and grateful to have been there.
Hoping for a little No Code on Friday."Your light's reflected now, reflected from afar. We were but stones, your light made us stars."0 -
Well, getting into Safeco was a mess, as has been discussed elsewhere. We thought getting into the Waldbuehne in Berlin was a cluster, but this was just inexplicable. It's a good thing the show made it worth the hassle. :-) Was it a killer setlist like in Krakow? No. But it was three hours of high-energy, well-executed Pearl Jam, so I have nothing to complain about.Yes, it had a nostalgic, celebratory feel. I expected that. I also expected to hear both Even Flow (of course...) and Let Me Sleep, given that these shows are trying to highlight the issue of homelessness in Seattle.I enjoyed the covers -- as my husband says, PJ is the world's best cover band. He was especially psyched to hear "I Am a Patriot." It was cool to see Brandi Carlile; I learned about her through PJ Radio, and from the little that I've seen/ heard from her, she is awesome. The highlight for me was "All Those Yesterdays," a song I don't think I've heard live since the Spectrum shows. I think it's a vastly underrated song, and it comes across so well live that I wish the guys would play it more. I also love love love hearing "Breath." And I felt like Mike was on fire last night. :-D As it turns out, we were sitting next to his neighbors, LOL.I'm kind of expecting that tomorrow's show will be one for "the freaks." But I have to say, we had a great time last night (despite the really, truly, completely unnecessary hassle of getting into the ballpark), are exhausted today, and can't wait for tomorrow. All those who seek to destroy the liberties of a democratic nation ought to know that war is the surest and shortest means to accomplish it.0

Sorry those who have seen 100000000 shows feel the need to critique every goddamn thing about last night's show - while I'm here at home unable to go - seriously. Might be time to stop going if you're going to be THAT disappointed or let down, or whatever.Yeah, just give me and Chris your tickets next time. We'll enjoy the shit out of it!I feel sorry for you people that feel duped but looking at the setlist and reading the little tidbits of Ed banter this looks like it was a freakin amazing show!!Star Lake 00 / Pittsburgh 03 / State College 03 / Bristow 03 / Cleveland 06 / Camden II 06 / DC 08 / Pittsburgh 13 / Baltimore 13 / Charlottesville 13 / Cincinnati 14 / St. Paul 14 / Hampton 16 / Wrigley I 16 / Wrigley II 16 / Baltimore 20 / Camden 22 / Baltimore 24 / Raleigh I 25 / Raleigh II 25 / Pittsburgh I 250

kruesch said:i've never posted here, but felt i had to, cause y'all some spoiled ass mother fuckers. nit picking that the show was no good because you didn't hear a song you've never heard before. when you are actually at a show, and better man comes on, it's awesome. the crowd loves it. the energy is great. looking at it on paper, you breeze past it. but who gives a shit about the setlist. just enjoy the show for what you get, not complaining about what you didn'tGorge0
