Homered in 6 straight games, too. Due up 1st top 9. Never want to put the go ahead run on base (especially with no outs) but in this case, it’s probably the best option. If they beat you, so be it. Better than just letting him slug his way out of the park.

Javy very well does make that play...when he isn't busy having a temper tantrum because a home plate umpire doesn't consult with a 1st base umpire on a swing he didn't even check. This is NOT on Zobrist. Strop, Wilson and Cishek can all feel free to own it.

I fucking hate Strop. Always have. Get rid of that piece of shit. 

Strop had a bad day. Most consistent reliever we’ve had for the last 5 years. It just that when he’s off, he absolutely implodes. Luckily that’s only about 1 in every 6 or 8 appearances.

Bullpen credited losses are at 11. That’s the lowest in MLB.

Starters need to stop giving up runs early and hitters need to start hitting before the 7th inning. Those two things have been our biggest banes all season.  60% of our wins shouldn’t be of the come-from-behind fashion. That luck’s gonna run out when there are nothing but good teams left.

Strop gives up runs when it hurts the most. He’s just very unreliable in my opinion. 

It's getting a little ridiculous.  At this point, it's all in their approach and their head.  The starters are walking guys like Rondon with a 1 run lead in the 9th.  It's pathetic.
