I can see it. He was stone faced as hell and that could be construed as sort of indifferent arrogance and despite that a bit of a dopey look to him. 

EDIT: now I feel weird having put so much thought into Greg Maddux’s face.

well, I lived in vegas....agassi gave so much back to the community. maddux golfed.

mike maddux is OK. talked to him at a christmas party about how his rangers’ relievers couldn’t throw strikes against my Giants in the 2010 WS. mike was like “it was bad.”

How did the cubs let Zach Britton go to the Yankees? We desperately need a reliever and we were rumored to be the front runner for him just recently. Is Theo sleeping on the job this year?

Britton isn't terrible enough.  We'll sign some no-name with a career ERA in the 4-5 range and Jed &Theo will make us drink the "potential" kool-aid. Again.

It’s pretty frustrating that they haven’t made a move thus far. We need pitching help or we’re going nowhere as the season goes on. I hope we’re not the only ones that realize that.

They should. DeGrom would be a huge addition but they seem to be inactive on the trade front at the moment.

Another day of anemic offense making a guy with a 5+ ERA look like a fucking Cy Young contender.

These fucking bums will be in 3rd place within the next 10 days.  It serves them right.  At this point I honestly hope we miss the playoffs this year.  Maybe THEN they'll all get their heads out of their fucking asses and start playing with some god damn desire.

Today's win was a nice gift. Still up 2.5.  Still tied for the 4th best in the national league, in terms of runs against.  

If pitching starts matching potential, then we'll be fine, but it's not WS champ caliber.  We'd need a lot to go right in the playoffs.

Exactly.  This just doesn't feel like a team that can win a playoff series.   I believe we'll get there.  Might even steal a game.  But I don't think this team, as it is right now, can win an NLDS.  Too many question marks.
