Denman...as if she has some overarching authority...wanted to add language on “lethal force”. This term was not adopted but pretty much the rest was. No plank was removed from the platform.     just to be clear. we know little of the Mueller investigation with regards to Trump.  But we do have the Steele dossier.

    Just from the 1st page alone:

    -Kremlin has been cultivating Trump for 5 years w/ purpose of splitting Western alliances (2016)

    -So far Trump has declined real estate deals offered to him by Russia, but has been accepting regular flow of information regarding political rivals

    -Russian intelligence has comprised Trump through activities in Moscow to sufficiently blackmail him.  This includes sexually perverse conduct arranged and monitored by Russian officials.

    Ha. A blog post with direct, lengthy, quotes from Denam herself. They rejected that language and didn’t change anything else. One has to wonder why they were so opposed to that since it goes beyond traditional republican foreign policy thinking. 

    And yes, a year and a half later the administration did spend 41 million in arms to Ukraine. As someone who is not a liberal or progressive, I supported that decision. I wonder if anything will change once Putin has Trump alone in a room in a couple weeks. We all know Trump delayed the decision was not happy about giving in to Mattis on that one:
