    Because unlike Trudeau who keeps blaming everything on the previous government, I can focus my attention on the current PM who's been a disaster for nearly 3 years.  And really, we should pay 1/2 our income to one tax or another so Trudeau can by a pipeline because he has no spine too tell BC the pipeline is being built.  Only in Canada can we go from a private company investing billions of their own money to the government buying them out.  A jelly fish has more backbone than Trudeau.  He's as fucking useless as his old man.

    no one is a stout defender of shitbirds. we are stout defenders of due process. in this case, it failed. sex offenders, especially repeat ones like this, need to be locked away indefinitely. 

    I can't access that link right now. was the maximum given to him? If so, the sentencing laws need to be changed. If not, then the judge failed in sentencing. And the dangerous offender designation (or whatever it is called) would be put to good use here.

    I think it's fair to say the process is flawed and in need of some repair. 'The process' comes at great expense to the taxpayer and to be frank... I'm not happy with my money being used as it is. For example, child murderer Penny Boudreau was investigated, charged, tried, and sentenced. That wasn't then end of it: she petitioned the courts for escorted leaves so she could attend church- which she has won. She will attend church with two officials supervising her.

    Her case is one case. Look at the finances associated with 'the process' so we can treat her so delicately. I don't give a shit about a past that led her to strangle her daughter, drive her to a remote location, pull her pants down to give the impression of a rape, and leave her lifeless body to the elements. I care about her at least serving half of her life sentence (20 years... that's not 'life') before we eagerly seek to make things sweet for her.    

    Leniency appears to be the operative term in our courts. It seems we really struggle laying the hammer down on those that need the hammer laid down on them.

    yes, as we all have stated time and again, yes, the process needs to be repaired. you get no argument there.

    Of course the Metis leaders are.  They are getting closer to full status first nation, which is what they want.  Once they get full status they will not be happy.  Not to mention Metis people are generally not tied to a reserve with horrible living conditions.  The fucking liberal have governed this country for close to 80% of the time ... they fucking own our First Nations mess...and the next time they add seats, maybe they should tell Toronto and those other large cities you have enough representation in government ... all new seats should go First Nations reserves...not the fucking cities.
