    sorry I have not read all the posts here but can you tell me what you like about him?  are you at all concerned that he has not released a fully costed platform?  by any chance, do you live in Toronto?  if so, can you tell me what you liked about him when he was a city counsel man
    For one the liberals and the ndp party platform were incorrectly costed if you recall.  Not that many post ago I explained what I like.  I'm not going to re type except I'll add 2 more things...eliminating corporate welfare and the green energy act.  At this point and time I give up thinking any political party has any real interest in deficit free government...

    A minrity is no good, then we'll 3-4 liberals hi-jacking government ... fuck that ... I hope the liberals are completely shut out tomorrow...

    I could have lived with the NDP ... until the IDIOTS THINK WE SHOULD BECOME A SANCTUARY PROVINCE ... health care is not free and we should not be giving it away to every tom dick or American that crosses the border.  We have 8-10 r wait times now.

    And at least the PC's have some solid candidates.  The dippers are full activist, puppy haters, legion haters and on and on...and a leader who spent 45000 grand on clothes in 3 years and filed it under office expenses...Andrea Horrible is just a crook as well...

    That's dismissive. Sometimes just one election really can completely change the trajectory of a province's or country's path in a really big and meaningful way, for better or worse (yes, the Trump election was one of those for the US IMO). It actually happens all the time (It certainly did in BC - when the BC Libs won all those years ago and kept power for 16 years, that absolutely changed BC is huge ways forever). Obviously she feels that this Ontario election is one of those, and that's a valid viewpoint for her at the moment, obviously. She clearly has a life.

    one piece of legislation that is inevitibly going to have growing pains is not the same as being in charge of an entire province.

    I don't think this conversation applies to legalization at all - I don't believe there is any other way to deal with legalization (in the real world). Also, something brand new and having it evolve over time isn't anything close to the same as a provincial government fucking up a bunch of stuff.

    lol.  Ok.  There is no parallel.  When it comes to general statements about government, it is way harder to fix 'things'...but when we talk about those specific 'things'...it's to be expected and no big deal. 
    All I was saying before was that complacency with the laws, because they're new, is a mistake - I agree with what you say about it being difficult to fix 'things' after the fact.   
    On the leglaization note....Edmonton's committee has proposed the most liberal civil laws in the country.  If it passes, we will be allowed to smoke in public - parks, sidewalks, designated areas at festivals  etc....shocked, and happy :)

    So what 'things' are you concerned about it being difficult to fix if Ford wins?  I'm going to guess that incompetently drafted legislation is one of those things?  Like legalization.
