    ^^ Although I'll have to say that just physically, Roseanne has aged extremely well... Of course she had gastric bypass to get there, and a breast reduction, and some plastic surgery, lol, but still... she looks pretty good, despite her terrible personality.

    Wow.  Just fucking wow.  How did people like Trump and Rosanne Barr become the biggest thing in the news any more?  Not all that long ago in our history,  this shit would at least have been laughed at, ignored by most, or scorned by quite a few .  What in the holy fuck has this world turned to?

    Similarly to your other post, you’re forgetting that context matters. What abhorrent things have been said about Trump, which were not warranted by, and in response to abhorrent things said by Trump?

    Freedom of speech never protected you from being socially ostracized when uttering the disgusting, vile, or socially unacceptable. Politically your speech is protected, but when your speech is offensive to a platform creator, never before has there been obligation to tolerate it.

    Before there was Twitter, think about a bulletin board in a restaurant or shopping mall. If you drew a swastika on the wall, was that public or private forum obligated to leave it up touting freedom of speech?

    I was very much alive, and an adult, and I remember all the sound bites that were taken out of context.  Trump is the first president to live in the world of Twitter is news.  What was your stance on my previous comment again?  Maybe you are questioning my idea of bringing up freedom of speech?  Where is freedom of speech if you hold an unpopular idea or make a terrible joke that for whatever reason although comedians can say whatever they want under the gise of comedy, there’s some sort of line that doesn’t exist, but does and as long as you cross it one way you are good, and the other you are terrible and outed?  What’s the next step, public humiliation, public firing, public execution?  As long as the twitterers are on board it’s really what’s righteous right?

    Similarly to your other post, you’re forgetting that context matters. What abhorrent things have been said about Trump, which were not warranted by, and in response to abhorrent things said by Trump?



    Of the top of my head, Madonna talking about blowing up the White House, Johnny Dep making a comment that maybe it’s time that a President was assasinated?  I would be far more inclined to think these things that actually insinuate violence would be abhorrent.

    And I even stated earlier that I didn’t agree with her words, but is looking and the bigger picture making me a racist?  I would argue those that cling to the idea that the other side is racist and that’s the leg they stand on, probably are in turn racist or hung up on the idea of racism and can’t see the bigger picture
