That we are used to it does not make it right. We wouldn't have tolerated it from GWB, we would not have tolerated it from Obama, and we can't fall into a trap of tolerating it from Trump.

    Not victim blaming. It’s taking a look at their reactions to it happening to them and their actions moving forward.  Each decided something was worth it being ok. I have my opinion on each. And let’s not forget this was no way a 1 time event for either.  

    It obvious that the 2 people responsible and the biggest asshats are trump and bill. They own it.

    You know it's funny, you can't even bring up Hillary in any context without some people screaming and jumping up and down and casting you as a trump supporter.  Maybe I'll start using a symbol like Prince.  This one..$? 

    Anyhow, someone mentioned not writing an article about trumps lies all the time.  Personally, I haven;t read it yet (but I will) and as long as it's fact-based and they don't stretch it just to add to the #'s....I think it is not only ok, but like someone else said, the media has a responsibility to report on that and remind us.

    The issue I have with beating the dead horse of Hillary is that she’s currently a private citizen, released 20 years of tax returns, has a non profit that is constantly audited by both the IRS and private non-profit assessment companies and has been the most investigated public servant in the past 50 years and has not once been indicted. Now, compare that public performance and service with the current Team Trump Treason’s private business and personal conduct and it’s given a pass or minimized. Compare the current occupant of the White House with his immediate predecessor and the contrast is even more glaring. But the right and their apologists still scream buh buh buh Hillary. She has no bearing on the current piece of shit we refer to as POTUS or more appropriately, Team Trump Treason. Nothing personal.

    either way..... deciding to stay with your spouse after they have made a mistake is not exactly unheard of, and I don't see it as a character flaw in those women.... like you said, Trump & Bill are the shitbirds that own their actions

    I hear ya, and if it was 1 time I'd agree.  There are patterns here.  Each didnt need to wait until their cheater was COTUS. But anyhow, I don't want to derail the thread anymore, it already had lots on unintended consequences. ;)

    Also, Tester is a long-term family friend of Jeff's, which very well explains why they are all willing to overlook this. I've never been under the impression that anyone in the band is black and white in their views or about politicians in any case.... Being black and white in this context is stupid. It doesn't work. It's impossible to like everything about a politician unless you're lying to yourself. I think that PJ stands behind Tester because he is indeed one of the most left people in state politics in Montana, gun supporter or not. But it's not like they'd have anything to do with him if Jeff and his family weren't old friends with him.
