Annihilation.   Strange, didn't love the ending.

    Annihilation

I enjoyed this a lot. Could have been a tad trimmed time wise.

Alien Covenant.  Better than what I was expecting and I liked how it tied into the other movies.

“if....” (1968) This is the movie that Stanley Kubrick saw and made him want Malcolm McDowell for Alex in A Clockwork Orange. Really good British film about youth rebellion and counterculture.

It’s on amazon prime for free right now if anyone is interested.

Black Panther - really enjoyed it. I've never read a comic book but I've enjoyed nearly all of the MCU movies

Baby Driver - fun movie with a cool soundtrack some really good sound editing.

Shape of Water.  Didn't love it.
I really can't see what all of the hype is around Shape of Water. I can't see anything appealing about it, and I usually like weird films!

    Veronica.

I kept reading all these articles about how it is the scariest film ever and it’s causing people to not be able to go to sleep. I’ve been hungry for a good horror film that freaks me the fuck out for a long time and man! To say this film was a disappointment would be a huuuuge understatement. I’ll have no problem sleeping tonight. I’m surprised it didn’t put me to sleep while watching it. There wasn’t a damn thing scary about it at all. Not even cheap jump scares.

Agreed. The true story itself is pretty interesting but this film is not.
Its a middle of the road typical Ouija board horror movie. Nothing else.
