I loved NOES films growing up!
I sure hope you would not love the one I just saw (the remake from 2010).

Hollywood's pretty decent.  Brad Pitt will not be slept on.
I'm partial to Pulp Fiction, but for my money, Q's best work was the True Romance script.

The Terminator. I've always caught bits and pieces on cable, but I think this was only the second time I've watched the entire thing. On the other hand, I've seen Terminator 2 like a hundred times.

Me, too. It was my pick for family movie night on fredagsmys. Kids dug it.

They didn't know what "fag" meant, which was kind of cool.

    A Call To Spy

I love Stana Katic but it was not very good.  Liked parts of it but then it didn't pay off, to me.
Would not suggest....better off watching Bill & Ted again.

Its a cigarette in England, and since smoking is bad for them, they should never repeat the word.

I visited London about 15 years ago and we were hanging with some locals at a bar. I pull out a Marlboro Light, and one of the locals points at me and says "Hey ya got an American fag there?" And I was like "WHAT?!?!?!" He explained how "fag" meant cigarette, and we all had a good laugh at my confusion.

In fact, let me rephrase my entire sentence with some of the English-speak I learned on that trip....

"I was on holiday in London some time ago and we were being chummy with some locals at a pub. I pull out a Marlboro Light, and a mate I just met says "Hey ya got an American fag there?" And I was like "You're insulting the wrong bloke, lad!"

One time on Facebook, a woman I know posted that she had been rear-ended while in traffic that day and her husband commented "I've never heard you complain before."

Yeah that could get you in trouble if a woman asked you to do her in the fanny and you got the wrong country slang.

    The Last Days

    Just...wow.

It brought about deep feelings of sympathy, rage, connections, disbelief, and sorrow.

Not an easy watch for sure. I couldn’t do it in even three sittings.
