“if....” (1968) This is the movie that Stanley Kubrick saw and made him want Malcolm McDowell for Alex in A Clockwork Orange. Really good British film about youth rebellion and counterculture.
It’s on amazon prime for free right now if anyone is interested.0 -
Black Panther - really enjoyed it. I've never read a comic book but I've enjoyed nearly all of the MCU movies
Baby Driver - fun movie with a cool soundtrack some really good sound editing.
I really can't see what all of the hype is around Shape of Water. I can't see anything appealing about it, and I usually like weird films!Enkidu said:Shape of Water. Didn't love it.Post edited by goldrush on“Do not postpone happiness”

I kept reading all these articles about how it is the scariest film ever and it’s causing people to not be able to go to sleep. I’ve been hungry for a good horror film that freaks me the fuck out for a long time and man! To say this film was a disappointment would be a huuuuge understatement. I’ll have no problem sleeping tonight. I’m surprised it didn’t put me to sleep while watching it. There wasn’t a damn thing scary about it at all. Not even cheap jump scares.Star Lake 00 / Pittsburgh 03 / State College 03 / Bristow 03 / Cleveland 06 / Camden II 06 / DC 08 / Pittsburgh 13 / Baltimore 13 / Charlottesville 13 / Cincinnati 14 / St. Paul 14 / Hampton 16 / Wrigley I 16 / Wrigley II 16 / Baltimore 20 / Camden 22 / Baltimore 24 / Raleigh I 25 / Raleigh II 25 / Pittsburgh I 250 -

Agreed. The true story itself is pretty interesting but this film is not.HesCalledDyer said:Veronica.
