The way I look at it, is it’s a breakfast meat so...gotta go syrup. You don’t put ketchup on pork roll or breakfast sausage right?Jearlpam0925 said:
When it's on the side with eggs, like bacon or sausage, the natives will dip it in ketchup or syrup. Lines are drawn in the sand. I can go either way (hey oh) - syrup if the scrapple is accompanying some pancakes or French toast.F Me In The Brain said:Cheese and egg, biscuit.
How do the natives eat it?
Ideal scrapple to me is cut super thin and grilled on a skillet, but that's if I'm making it at home (which I can tell you has happened maybe once in the last 10 years). Though at a diner I'm a fan of it deep fried.www.myspace.com0

Mmmm. I would probably say syrup or hot sauce then. Will have to slop some out with eggs and see.The love he receives is the love that is saved0

Understandable. And I probably use ketchup as a condiment no more than 2% of the time anymore, but I'd say a lot of people still do it because they've been doing since they were a kid.The Juggler said:

But nothing beats bacon, or a good sausage link, slathered in syrup.
I keep a minimum of 5 hot sauce staples on hand at all times and they all have a dedicated role: Texas Pete - breakfast foods or chik-fil-a-style breaded chicken; Cholula and Tapatio for any Mexican-style foods, Tabasco for Bloody Marys, Sriracha for the Asian dishes (or these hot sauces go on anything really).Post edited by Jearlpam0925 on0

Has he been associated with the mummers or Avalon before this? I know they had to go back years to find an outfit that fit him, but why Avalon? Has he always played the sax? I have so many questions.0
-
Yeah, he's been spotted in Avalon and Sea Isle a bunch over the years...www.myspace.com0

Avalon the club. They just combined a bunch of leftover costume garb from prior years. Avalon is also one of the less shitty clubs (oxymoron right there) - just string bands, no wenches I believe. Yes, he has played the sax since at least high school I think? We go way back. ALSO showed up at Central High to play the sax.

So the club has nothing to do with the shore town? Huh....well, I'll be www.myspace.com0

People do like their Avalon/(insert shore town) hoodies though, so I really felt the need to clear the air.0

Well this answers a good amount of it, stalkerface. Yeah, Avalon string band. It’s right around the corner. Definitely one of the better ones, have won a few times I think. I’m just wondering how he got associated with them and if there is anything going back or what. It’s all very random but kinda cool. I didn’t realize they still do that Manayunk day thing either. Bet that is a good old mess.Jearlpam0925 said:Avalon the club. They just combined a bunch of leftover costume garb from prior years.
