I concur. He's older but was still a force last year and with the way the Eagles rotate, it will keep him fresh throughout the season.

Aaaaaaaand, if it makes a bunch of Trump supporters upset, I like this move even more.

    GO BIRDS.

As a buddy of mine texted me, "When will the euphoria end?"

I gotta think this means Darby's gone as well, right?

Supposed to sign P-Rob before the tampering window. I like it as long as the contract is ok. The must feel none of the young CB's can play the slot.

Report: Eagles nab Ngata on 1-year deal
by Michael McClymont · 13m ago
DETROIT MI - OCTOBER 08 Haloti Ngata 92 of the Detroit Lions celebrates a second quarter sack on Cam Newton not in photo of the Carolina Panthers at Ford Field on October 8 2017 in Detroit Michigan

Just when you thought the Philadelphia Eagles' defensive front couldn't get any more intimidating.

The defending Super Bowl champions will add veteran defensive tackle Haloti Ngata on a one-year deal, ESPN's Adam Schefter and Chris Mortensen report.

The transaction comes after the pending acquisition of Michael Bennett via trade.

The Eagles are currently over the cap and will have to find room to incorporate these additions. They're reportedly shopping defensive end Vinny Curry.

Philadelphia's vaunted stable of D-linemen is led by Fletcher Cox, Brandon Graham, Timmy Jernigan, Chris Long, and Derek Barnett.

Ouch.  Much as I love my alma mater, I cringed reading those two names.  Both Justice and Ramsey were good college players but neither one was a pro for long and Justice is really only known in the league as the fucking guy that gave up 6 sacks in one game.

Hey, at least Dougie knows how to use Nelson and he was salvaged from the list of USC draft picks the Eagles wished they never made.

    No faith in Pumphrey? KIDDING.

Maybe Sproles resigns on a bargain to go win another title.
