Same can be said for Kendrick, the man has talent and some serious beats.  He was top of almost all lists out there for 2017, but there is a HUGE portion of the people that just want to listen to some music without reminding them of all the issues in the world they are trying to escape from.  This is the Grammy population.  I fall in the middle.  Halfway through DAMN, I say to myself "well thats enough of that" and I say the same thing through Brunos album.  Time and place for everything and Bruno just falls in line with the Grammys.  It's not a coincidence ratings are way down.

The difference is that Kanye pays for them wheras Public Enemy and the Beastie Boys did not.
