    Haha sorry man. I live in queens. If someone was traveling to manhattan and stopped in my neighborhood they’d think this was the middle of nowhere too.

    And I’d like to keep it that way- my rent is already too damn high!

    also tried Pliny the elder yesterday. Well worth the wait. I feel like it would have really blown my mind had I got a hold of it when I first wanted to years ago. But it was a very balanced beautifully hopped beer. So happy to cross that one off the list.

    You know my answers Mike!  Revolution, Pipeworks and Half Acre are top 3 must visits.  Goose Island and Lagunitas for 4 and 5 maybe? A not as well known spot in Wicker Park called Piece Brewery...great beer and east coast style pies!

    Three floyds is on a different level but I left it off because it’s out of the city. My favorite for sure

    I'd say Revolution, Half Acre, On Tour Brewing, Lagunitas and Great Central Brewing.  Great Central is a contract brewing place that brews beer for a few different breweries....they have a pretty nice taproom where you can have a bunch of the beers that they brew there.

    Yeah they opened up a huge brewery in Chicago a few years ago.  They have a really nice taproom in there and the tour is pretty cool.

    Yeah, man.  Grabbed a case of Daisy Cutter maybe a month ago.  Have been trying to go through it slowly and have done a pretty good job mixing it in with other stuff.

    Jai Alai is awesome.

    Lagunitas is based in Petaluma about an hour north of San Francisco. Great brewery to visit.

    It is now 100% owned by Heineken and that's why they opened in Chicago and have much wider distribution then they did a few years ago.
