anybody else here homebrew?  I just started a few months ago and I'm obsessed.  I have to stick with 1 gallon batches for now (I have two fermenting jugs) since I live in a NYC apartment but I already know I'll make 5+ gallon batches one day.
That's what I was kinda hoping this thread would turn into, or at least there should be a homebrew thread. I've done it a few times this year, and definitely want to do it more often. And same here - I've been restricted to gallon batches and I want to step it up to all grain brewing in 5+ gallon batches. My only issue  I've been terrible with making my priming sugar and almost half of my batches had too much carbonation, which has sucked, and I probably should get my shit together on that before stepping it up.
Not gonna lie I've taken the easy way out with carbonation by using these:  https://www.amazon.com/Coopers-Home-Brewing-Carbonation-Drops/dp/B003E5ZYB8

One drop per 12oz bottle is perfect.  I'd rather spend little extra to save time and frustration.  I love brew day but hate bottling day.

Ah, sweet. Yeah, definitely doing this instead. Thanks.

No problem.  I'm sure this option would get way too expensive when doing larger batches, but I think it's well worth it for 1 gal

It's been driving me crazy that I have not been able to get to Other Half to try their anniversary beers.  I'm assuming they will be running out very shortly :disappointed:

Having an 87 now from Night Shift in Everett, MA.  Excellent stuff.  Also, participating in a local bar's beer summit this month and have tried some excellent craft beer.  Kona/Kohana has been the best and Maine Brewing Lunch has been excellent, too.

Love me some night shift but haven’t tried the 87 yet. Lunch is an incredible beer. My favorite from Maine so far but I still need to find Dinner.

Good stuff.  Love them all but still have not tried Radiant Pig.  Barrier is putting up some great hazy beer.

Barrier has the inability to create anything by themselves as of late since the one with all the ideas left, hence all the colabs lately.

I do like what Barrier puts out though.

Also you need to try the Robots beer.  Amazingly tasty!

Interesting I wondered why they had so many collabs. I only tried there stuff over the past 10 months or so, with money and tanto being my favorites.

Going to the NYC Beer Week Opening Bash on Saturday.  Scheduled breweries include every NYC brewery, select guests from NY state and then about 15 places from other states.  I have counted 42 places I'd ideally like to try, with about half of them being MUST trys.  Wish me and my liver luck!
