Of course they are. But that said, BB’s genius lies in seeing all of the moving parts, from the owner, to the players he has, to the future and the past, to the water boy. His draft picks have confounded us. His play calling has been suspect. His strategy? Get inside the head of your opponent, know them well and exploit and execute. It’s all about next week, a continuous one game season lasting 18-19 games. BB knows the rules but the rules do not know him. While everyone else is playing checkers, he’s playing 11 dimensional chess. And of course he can win without Brady. Doh, 11-5 and missed the playoffs. Only in the NFL.Degeneratefk said:

Or come in second. 11-5 and missing it is bullshit. But that said, BB LOST his starting QB, has never had big money/name, complete game, position players and he goes 11-5 and misses the playoffs. Since then? 9 straight AFC east titles and last year 28-3. Fuck Vince Lombardi.Degeneratefk said:

Well, it’s hard not to when you era began in 2001 and here it is 2017. 16 years of unbridled success. Not without its controversy, mind you. But stick um? Remember that? Kelvin Winslow getting injections on the sideline between plays? Jerry rice admitting to basically cheating ? Romanowski and his tackle box full of pills? In the grasp not being called or the fumble that never was? Aaron ouch my collarbone hurts Rodgers admitting he prefers balls over inflated? (And they are). Why is it bullshit? One year the AFC had a lot of good teams. The pats 5 losses were all costly. I think they lost 3 different tie breakers that hear.will myself to find a home, a home within myself

Geez Scott, because a team with a 7-9 record or 8-8 beat out 11-5. Math is not your strong suite?Degeneratefk said:Why is it bullshit? One year the AFC had a lot of good teams.

I don’t think any of that is in dispute. BB’s legacy is cemented in NE. Non-story. One player does not a team make. Contrived controversy.Degeneratefk said:This is my opinion. Kraft nixed the idea of trading brady. BB got pissed that Kraft essentially chose TB over BB. So BB traded away the future of the team in JG and JB. I feel like he's going to leave and he's leaving the patriots without a future qb. I also think he will leave before Brady retires just so he can show Kraft that it was that system and not the qb that created the success in NE since 2001.
