What you’re missing is that trump’s agenda was his ugliness. Clinton’s ugliness was not in her agenda. trump supporters heard his agenda that was rooted in racism and bigotry and then chose to vote him. Some rationalized it in the hopes that he would magically turn ‘presidential’. Others wanted him to be himself because they saw themselves in him and he provided a mouthpiece for their beliefs. 6 outof 10 trump supporters will cntinue to support him no matter what he does.
