Many of their votes affect people outside of their constituents. I think it's wishful thinking that they'll pay attention to people who can't vote for them, but I wouldn't tell anyone not to try.
True, you haven't told anybody what to do or not do here but statements like:

"Anyone can call, but honestly, do they pay attention to anyone that isn't a constituent - i.e. a voter?"
"I think it's wishful thinking that they'll pay attention to people who can't vote for them..."

seem disparaging of the attempts some of us have made by making these calls.  Minor point, but I'm not sure what the point of it is other than to be discouraging.

Really? These are mostly executive orders which this party used to pretend to hate.

Why can't they get anything done legislatively despite controlling all branches of government?

That list makes me sick. To summarize, he has single handedly expedited the extinction of humankind. A tall order, but he has done more than any President before him to lead us to that goal. Bravo.
    It's a hopeless situation...

Been talking about "repealing and replacing" for 7 years and cannot do it despite controlling all branches of government.

I'll ask again--what happened to the republican party? Why can't they get anything done?

I think it plays a role in many things.  Especially most of your comments around here... Do I think that the race card is overused, yes...yes I do.

I agree with that too.  I also feel that the term racist is overused.  For instance “Hobby Lobby selling cotton is racist”.
