    How are people dumping ESPN in record numbers? Pretty sure it's standard for anyone with cable,  satellite,  etc. He just makes up shit with impunity.

    People have gotten very tired of liberal stuff day in and day out. (Hence why you have President Trump).  Americans love sports and now the coverage is being used as a platform for political messages not of the game.  Concerts are different.

    If you have ANY cable TV package that includes ESPN (which is every package) , regardless of provider, ESPN gets 7 dollars and change from you whether you watch it or not.  per month, PER SUBSCRIBER.  That's WAY more than anyone else gets.  Before ad revenue has even been factored in, they have always had the best contract in all of TV.   

    Do people still have cable TV?  many still do.  Are many people are moving to a phone based system of TV delivery?  sure.  I personally don't want to watch MNF or the opening rounds of The Masters on a small screen.

    Cord cutting is one thing.  Leaving the E in droves because of what Jamele Hill said in a tweet?   There's literally no way to do it while keeping pay TV services.
