If accurate, it creates a snowstorm of conflict of interest claims.

I agree that he may have early signs of dimentia and it is something I said during the campaign. It seems that the office may have hastened things along a bit. Some of the behavior and interviews are odd and meandering. His language and communication has sharply declined. You see video of him in various settings sometimes and it doesnt seem like he is all there at times.Tiki said:

Hadn't heard that one. Here are a couple of interesting fact:MayDay10 said:my favorite one is how Mueller had a disagreement about fees with a trump golf course and ended his membership years ago, therefore he has a conflict of interest
 1. There are very specific situations which would allow for the termination of Mueller. They are generally around misconduct or dereliction of duty. I don't believe membership fees to a country club is on the list, but I can't be sure.
 2. Trump can't fire Mueller. Period. He can only be terminated by his boss in the DOJ. That's Rosenstein. Trump can try to strong arm Rosensteing, but he already said he would resign. After that it goes to someone lower than Rosenstein. People quitting the DOJ for refusing to terminate Mueller would be one helluva fire storm. In other words... It's definitely going to happen!!0

Pushing Don's talking points, eh? Shocking. You know Mueller is a registered republican and respected by republicans and democrats alike, right? But, sure, go ahead and muddy this up so Trump's base doesn't believe anything he comes up with...and you wonder why we are so divided.....ugh www.myspace.com0

It's really fucking amazing what is happening.

The only way the President can get rid of Mueller is by appointing a new AG not recused from Russia investigation who would then take over from Rosenstein on the investigation. If that happens, both parties have said that Mueller would be hired to oversee an investigation from Congress.JC29856 said:

 1. He could order his dismissal through the DOJ as I mentioned above, but I would expect Rosenstein and co. to balk. I think the more likely scenario is he forces Sessions out, brings in someone not connected, and then pushes dismissal through the new AG.JC29856 said:

 2. He could fire him, but first he would have to repeal the special counsel regulations that are in place today. Certainly that would be politically damaging.
 3. The Senate would probably bring Mueller in immediately. However, here's the rub and why that wouldn't be good for the country. Under either a House or Senate investigation, criminal charges could not be levied against Trump or his minions. Only the DOJ has criminal prosecutor powers. What could happen is that the House could raise impeachment charges against Trump and then of course the Senate owns the trial.
If it looks bad enough, criminally, for Trump's family (not him personally), he might choose to go that route and take his chances with impeachment. That would certainly be interesting.0

I think he should shut his mouth, let the investigation play out and let his attorneys discredit it. if he has nothing to hide then no worries. if he or his family has done something then let them hang.mrussel1 said:
