But if the items all sold in minutes than how could they be overpriced? I don't know how Cleveland '98 sold for $800 though when I listed it for $400 on here for about the last year.

Well... it appears it sold out rather suddenly so it's kind of hard to argue it was overpriced. And considering it was for a charitable cause I'm not sure why anyone would mind even if it was overpriced.
I think the reality is that posters are more popular than ever and there is a huge demand for the posters in this sale. Maybe it's a bubble or maybe the big prices are here to stay. Only time will tell.

Was this widely publicized on Facebook? Is it possible that people that don't frequent this website are not as price savvy as some people here?

I think it was but I could be wrong. I also think the following quote might be why some people have the sentiment that they do. This quote was in response to what prices will be like. You can see on the first page.
"they will be fair. We put a lot of time and effort into researching the prices and making sure they weren't too high. I think people will overall be very happy with both the selection and prices (there will always be some though that won't be)."
Just got the email to stay tuned for updates on the sequel. I went into the last one thinking I was going to buy something but prices were not were I thought they would be. This time I will check it out just out of curiosity sake.
They are going to sell a Cracker Jack....any guess on their "market" price? $1000
Ya I think that would be spot on. Seems like their fair market price is pretty much the going rates of the newer waffles on Facebook. Cracker Jacks go for $1040 lately.

I'm guessing more like $1500 the way things were priced.

My problem was choosing. When i finally decided on Hartford AP it sold during checkout. Shouldve just jumped on it. Dumb
The average selling price on the regular is $213.29 http://expressobeans.com/public/detail.php/174803 while the s/n edition average selling price is $432.84.
How much was it? I think I am about to sell a majority of my collection.
Edit - Never mind I found the images with prices.
