Should 10c fans who get pre sale tickets get better seats than general sale?
Hi went to last night's show in London Hammersmith 6,6,17, Ed was amazing, got absolute shit tickets from 10c i know not everyone can have front row seats but when people have brought tickets off touts outside and are a lot closer its bloody annoying,

I get there are those that'll say 'you're lucky to get a ticket' or 'your expectations were wrong' but I can only agree with the OP.
Yeah, this has been the method for all of Ed's solo shows. I can understand the disappointment though.
I sucked it up.
It's a fight.
That said...I understand the disappointment.

Is the 10C booking fee clear either?
I totally get merch shipping fees from 10C but this additional just seems ridiculous and in my book almost touting. I'll drop 10C a mail later and try to get some clarification unless any of the mods can chip in now.
This is from the announcement for the third Amsterdam show:
https://pearljam.com/ten-club/event/eddie-vedder-adds-third-amsterdam-show
Ten Club Ticket Locations: Seating assignments for EV solo shows are not seniority based. Seats are assigned at random and mixed in with the general public. Ten Club tickets are being held in the top price level of this venue, meaning the price level that is closest to the stage. Tickets in all price levels, will be available through the public sale.
"...I changed by not changing at all..."
However, my tickets were £85 tickets and I was charged for the top price level tickets, which were £95 tickets. If we are going to be sprinkled throughout the theater, shouldn't we be in the price range we actually paid for (or be refunded the difference if they can't seat us in the price range we paid)?
we are members of pearl jam fan club tix..not eddie vedder fan club...
eddie vedder 10c presale tix is a priveledge to the 10c fans to have a first shot before public sale..if tomorrow 10c stop selling tix for eddie shows,u cant complain about it..
and 10c cant secure the best seats in the house,in small venues for solo shows..thats why u know already its mixed with general sales and not the first rows tix..
also..thats the reason seniority doesnt matter,..,cos its eddie solo shows..eddie start tour solo from 2008..so a member of 2000 doesnt have better seat from a 2003 fans,,cos there was no shows back then....cos statred 2008.
.its a plus to get a shot before others..,thats all..a small priveledge..that doesnt have seniority..or best seats in the house..
same should happen if other members do solo shows and 10c have a presale..

In the larger scale of things. With tickets getting harder and harder to get for other bands, I've periodically joined a number of other fan clubs. Most (if not all of them) don't get what 10c gets. They get fewer tickets, and they aren't all the best seats, they're scattered around the venue). I'm not sure how 10c still pulls it off for Pearl Jam shows, but it's amazing. I guess whatever leverage they have doesn't work for the smaller eddie shows (and whatever ticketing agencies handle those tickets).
