What are your thoughts about what our response should be, if any, to what is going on over there? I'm torn actually. On one hand I think we need to respond and stop them from continuing to threaten us, launch missles and oppress their people, but on the other hand if we do get involved it will be a massive distraction to all the corruption currently going on with Trump and might rally everyone behind him.

    North Korea's famous missile launch traveled a total of 780 miles! Is that supposed to scare Alaskans?

    the more they test, the more successful each launch will become. if they eventually develop one that can reach the US mainland, then shit gets interesting. but that could be a long way off.

    You know, that may be the only way to unite the USA.  If a North Korean missile killed wild life, and polluted the forest/waters....we could get all the crazies from the left and right together!

    From what I saw it went up 1700 miles... beyond the space station... then reentered the atmosphere without issue... with a lower trajectory it could have made it to Alaska... the nearly up & down trajectory was done on purpose and doesn't represent the actual possible distance the missile could travel

    From all reports this is a legitimate breakthrough and advance in their technological capabilities
